There an interesting one on 14th street. Basically a head shop that also sells cards. Somewhere between 3rd and 1st avenues on the south side of the street. Hobby boxes in the front window.

He's the WORST! He has like 1 box of each and charges way over blowout and has a major attitude problem if you don't like his price...stay away!

Hate to break it to you but my buddy bought a resealed box there a year or so ago. The owner told him to bring the box back so he can look at it, and when he did the guy said since he isnt a regular customer how does he know he is telling the truth? And then kicked him out of the store telling him to never come back.

When I got to check the box from him the topps seal was odd and was confirmed by topps that it was not their factory seal.

There's a few stores in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Strong Island, but Manhattan is all comic books. Forget about it.

Never had a problem with them and I've pulled some nice hits from boxes/packs bought there...

I'm sure a few good hits from PACKS slip through the cracks...

Boxes are fine.

There was a small shop on the Upper East side. Third and maybe 88th or 89th. Not sure if it's worth the hike, though.

There is an autograph shop that is worth checking out. It's called "Gotta Have It" and is at 153 East 57th. They've got tons of great stuff, even if it's all way out of my price range. Sports, politics, music and anything else you can think of.
