Anyone who follows these guys knows that they usually play well against the “good” teams and they sh!t the bed against the “bad” teams. I don’t know why that is, but it’s maddening.

…and I know they try to work the count quite often, but I’m tired of seeing them watch numerous fastballs right down the middle of the plate, only to fall behind and have to chase pitcher’s pitches and/or be at the mercy of the ump’s strike zone judgement. See the ball and whack it once in a while…

…and why is it that it seems every crucial, last-chance moment at the end of a game has either Drew or Gregorius standing in the batters box? Good grief.

(whew…I feel better. Ha.)

It seems like every 7th/8th inning they start to get a one or two out mini rally started. Then Hedley or Drew get up and it quickly falls apart. Leave too many men on base.

He was swinging away at a low strike yesterday and fouled it off. Two pitches later, same exact pitch and he watches it.

Looks like a slump or some bad funk for him.
