I never realized Manning played for the Vikes until I saw this card. Then I had to have one. It took a while for the prices to drop down to where I liked it. /50.
Banty Red
Those Pro Line packs were fun to open hunting for the one autograph per box...I never did pull one. The boxes were probably easy to search for the signed cards.
2023 Elite Dilfer auto 1/5 means I have the /149, /49, and /5 versions, just missing the 1/1. Amazing that they only made that many parallels. 1941 Play Ball Bob Johnson completes the full '39-'41 Play Ball A's run. 1999 SPX Finite Radiance AJ Hinch 010/100 completes the 3-card team set. Lastly, three colorful 2023 Chrome autos.
A rare trophy card. These days, its more fun to find the Archives versions, because I have grown to distrust the non-certified market with recent players. Too much incentive to fake.
Dent /5. Got it pretty cheap, probably because its a 6. I don't care.
Another cool 90s redemption card in the bag. Head of the Class Skybox. This would have been the Grant Hill year, I believe, the first year this was a set instead of a multi-player card.
On a Hideki Matsui kick lately. First wave here, have a few more coming later this month. Not going out of my way to pick up everything, but couln't pass these up.
1. 2003 Absolute Memorabilia #200 Hideki Matsui RC0051/1500 -- Palindromic numbering, couldn't pass this up for a couple of dollars and $0.99 shipping. Donruss RC was a throw in.
2. 2003 Donruss Elite Aspirations RC/45 -- Premium subset, not the greatest picture, but love the foil on this.
A rare (both the card itself and finding anything new for my collection) Brandon Webb pickup - up to 1,079 unique and around 78% of his rookie year print run.
2006 Finest Gold Refractor Dan Johnson 33/49 completes the team set. The always-tough 1999 Stadium Club First Day Eric Chavez 126/200 gets me to 3 remaining for that team set, but one of those is Rickey. I still need a lot of 2004 Ultra Platinum Medallions, but the Mike Rouse -073/100 is a nice addition. And the 2001 Pacific Retail LTD Ben Grieve 28/85 gets my team set needs down to 2!
2002 Topps Pristine Gold Refractor 22/70 Miguel Tejada completes the team set. Still a ways to go on both 1999 Omega Premiere Date and Platinum Blue.
My god, people must want stuff damaged by the PO! I may have to ask EVERY seller to make sure they understand mailing delicate objects. This has a slight bend to it. Its not otherwise perfect, so I will live with it. Had the cardboard showed a crease at all, I'd send it back. I am probably preaching to the choir, but if anyone can benefit (either as a sender of receiver), it's worth mentioning again.
Mail everything assuming it will be bent by the USPS and if you do it right, the job you do will not allow the item to be bent!
This is a mail-in checklist sheet for basketball team checklists from around 1975-76 or so. They are pretty boring, blank backed, so just the checklist, but not easy to find either.
This card just arrived in the last few days. It is a 1952 Topps Bill Rigney and was the final card needed to complete the second series of the set. This is the first time I have ever completed a series from a vintage issue.
Some super cheap COMC jersey # pieces. Technically sept, but,... it's been busy 21 for Sox and 22 fir Yanks and Astros. Not a modern fan, but jersey # and low print run are ok. For the Sox card
