Getting Grissom's autograph when he was on a visiting team at Cinergy Field in Cincy was one of the big IP moments of my childhood. Fantastic card.

I don't think most of my pickups are really that exciting, so I never really bother with them. This one is a little different; I've wanted this card for years and years, but never at the ridiculous prices it would turn up for. I remember at one point this going for around $100. Got it on Sportlots for under $6 dlvd:

I have over 70 of these, dont know why i still buy them since he hasnt played in years. this is the first ive seen pop up in over a year.

This Bonds is my very latest pickup. Also grabbed the silver embossed refractors of Ripken, Bonds, and Mcgwire from this same set, along with a 3 color patch Mcgwire Greatest card numbered to 25 from the new Immaculate. Will post more/better pics when everything shows up in mail.
