OCTOBER Treasure Hunter's Box Break Sunday Nov 1st 8p CST

Heres how these breaks are going to work:

You sign up for a team and you get that team in every one of our Treasure Hunters box breaking group breaks until you let that spot go. However if you let the spot go and someone else signs up for that team they will have ownership of that team for as long as they want.

We will be doing at least 1 mixed box or case break a month. I will announce the boxes that we'll be doing at the first of the month. Then the money will be due within a week or two of filling it up. Once the break is finished we'll discuss what boxes we're going to get for the next month. We still have to fill 16 slots so once everyone has signed up i'll open it up to the public. You can get multiple slots as well.


This is our monthly group. When you sign up for a team you have the rights to that team in every break. We will be doing mixed boxes every month. Also will be doing cases when something special is out or the group decides. We will vote and discuss boxes before the 1st of the month. Anyone can sign up as long as the team you want is there!

Price: $65 a slot

**As always if a dual, triple or quad card comes out it goes to whatever team the first player on the card is, regardless if the team has been picked or randomized. If there is more than one of the SAME card , the 2nd card will go to the 2nd team.

With those I can do a random. However if someone has two players or more from 1 team they will get it automatically.

My vote is for "other"...can we add that?

I think we can get a lot bigger bang for our buck with: SP Threads (Approximate Release Date: Tue, Oct 20 2009)

Current prices has a 14-Box Case at around $70 +/- per spot!! Looks like ALL memorabilia cards are now serial numbered as well. (5) hits per box looks a lot better than two hits. Just my thought as Limited continues to get worse over the last couple years and I think the SP Signature will be watered down with a who's who of autographs.

I don't really like threads, the stuff doesn't hold value very much, but if thats what you guys would like.

I haven't voted yet, but I was leaning towards a case of SP Signature. The only thing that has stopped my from voting for it is the talk of a potential change to randoming the hits. I don't like that idea at all. Every break we have went with the top/left player is the team the card goes to and I think we should stick to that. It has worked fine so far. If this rule changes, I'm not sure I want to participate in any break.

I'm not trying to argue or cause a problem or anything, but I really think we should stick with what we've done and what has been posted every month. There is a chance that someone could make out like a bandit and get several multi autographed cards, but that's the gamble of joining a break instead of breaking on your own.

NP-I just thought for a Group Break it works well with the number of hits involved and Limited and SP Sigs don't offer many hits per box. A case of SP Signature with the guaranteed (5) multi-autos per case would be the only way to go with that product. This is a tough vote to be honest. Since we are only talking about (1) box of UD Black on the Mixed Boxes I went with a Case of SP Signature Edition.

I believe everyone should have a chance if they have a player on the card is why I like RANDOMIZING multi-player cards but I always defer to what the Group Break Host rules are so I have no problem with that rule either. Most (if not all) of my breaks I now participate in these days follow the left/right - top/bottom rules. I do believe though if you own the MAJORITY of players/teams on that card you should get it so I do like to see that that is in place.

Hey man to each his own. I go by the addage of it shouldn;t matter what order the players are on the card everyone involved should have an equal shot. BUT I'm not gonna not join because of it. If it really upsets you that much to possibly have a chance at a card that you wouldn;t have had a shot at under the way it was done, that's your choice also.

I honeslty could care less what way it goes..I just go with the flow! I like that there is a set standard for hwo or how teach card (multi) gets issued out.. However If there is a multi auto with the top player of one team and two autos from the another (same) team thn it maybe it shopuld go to the team that dominates the card. I am not a fan of the random thing however just simply because I would like to know who gets the card as soon as its pulled not leaving it to another "Raffle" so to speak! But like I said I have fun doing these and what ever the rule is thats how it goes..I would just ask that Its clearly stated that way everyone understand and there can be no B****ING...
