Those Franklin Caramel cards are terrible. I used to have a Ryan when I was a kid, along with a few others, and even then I knew how awful the artwork was. Miss the days when stuff like that was part of the market...

I picked up a whole bunch of 1984 Nestles on Sportslots for 18¢ each; I don't think they're scarce at all, but I was buying guys like Harold Baines and Jerry Remy, not Nolan Ryan.

Can't wait to see the 1993 WhataBurger set. Had my mom buy me one from QVC for $20 back in 1994, then found another set a few years later for $1 at a show ::facepalm::

Could be worse, about 2 years ago if I would have been with in 3 hours driving distance, I would have picked up 20 cases from an ebay auction for less than $100. If I remember correctly that would have been close to 35,000 cards .
