oh boy, the refs love NY.

Pierce gets hit by two people and doesn't get the call. Amare gets the call again with either minimal contact or no contact.

edit: right after I posted this they called the makeup call for Pierce.

What a game.

I like the Celtics, but was hoping for a Knicks win so Amare could hit #9 in a row for the Knicks #9.

One-tenth of a second quicker and the Knicks would be winners.

Great game. The Knicks really played hard. Much like you'd expect from a D'Antoni team, amazing offense and not much defense.

Couple thoughts:

-As much as it pains me to say this, Rondo really hurt the team tonight. The beginning of the game he was passing up open looks even right under the basket. He really shouldn't have been in the game after the ankle injury.

-When Nate tried to jump over Paul after the shot and he missed and fell was both scary and hilarious

-Amare is an offensive force, and has improved his defensive game

-I have to think this is the best the Knicks have played all year, while this was no where near the best for the C's

-Again, the C's are a completely different team with both O'Neal's out and Perk still out. They lose a real presence in the middle.

tough loss.

go get Carmelo!

Am I crazy for thinking that Iggy would be a better fit for this team than Melo? Melo isn't exactly known for his defense, and the offense works just fine with Amare getting most of the ball usage. Iggy could replace Gallonari at SF and be a defensive stopper and good ball handler when Felton isn't on the court.

I agree with the Bolded. I think it will catch up with us sooner or later if these guys dont get healthy. I understand Doc would rather rest his guys and give up wins but I would really like to see us get Home court advantage through out the playoffs, especially if we have to play the Heat or Magic in the east and or the Spurs or Lakers in the west. If we some how pull out the best record in the league I have no doubt we will win it all. As for now Its a good thing that KG, Allen and Pierce are atleast healthy as that is what is keeping our streak alive.

::facepalm:: for the Wiz blowing the Heat game at the end.

And K-Love: 43 and 17 in a loss to Denver. Unreal.

Today is the real first test for the Heat and Mavs for that matter. Every year the Mavs Play awsome in the regular season but then bust in the postseason. This will be a pretty impressive win for the Mavs if they pull of the win in Miami. As for the Heat I have been very skeptical about them even on the win streak. If they beat the Mavs tonight, it will really turn me into some what of a believer but then again with Lebron James and Dwayne Wade on the same team you would have to think they would go on some great runs.

Tight game between Mavs and Heat so far. Heat have much better Defensive intensity than last time I have seen them.

What about Chicago's beatdown last night?

Reminded me of an NBA 2K11 game this weekend. Played FCB member Landon and was whooped by 51.

76ers bounce back. Tommy is having a field day with the officiating in this one.

Am I the only who thinks all the reaction to Miami's beatdown of L.A. is a bit over the top?

I haven't watched any of the sports shows or commentary online but the Heat flat out beat down the Lakers today. So it's not surprising.

It is and it isnt. The Truth of the Matter is LA is not playing very well (So far) this year. The Spurs also Just beat them down (today)! I dont know if I like this as I really wanted another Celtics Vs Lakers Finals (For redemtion purposes). I honestly feel with the Way the Spurs and Mavs are playing that if the Lakers do not get Home court advantage throughout the west they will not be in the Final. Still a lot of season left so we will see how it plays out. Spurs and Mavs could go on a slide.

Also Good too see The Celtics bounce back after that lose to Orlando :) .
