For the record, any articules I quote come from ProFootballTalk.com unless otherwise noted.

Browns defensive lineman Corey Williams made it clear last year that he wasn't happy in Cleveland. Now he's on the way out.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN is reporting that unnamed sources say Williams will land with the Lions in exchange for a late-round draft pick. Mortensen writes that Williams is scheduled to take a physical on Friday to finalize the trade from the Browns to the Lions.

Although acquiring Williams would bolster the Lions' defensive line, Mortensen writes that the Lions wouldn't be done upgrading their defensive line there. Per Mortensen, the Lions may also sign free agent defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch and draft Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

With the Vikings strictly limited in their ability to sign unrestricted free agents, they'll have to improve the team via other avenues.

As a final four franchise from 2009, they're permitted to pursue any restricted free agents. Of those, the best are the ones that have no restriction.

Enter Colts cornerback Marlin Jackson. The restricted free agent did not receive a tender from the Colts, allowing the Vikings or any other team to snatch him up.

Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that the Vikings are interested in Jackson. As to whether that interest becomes action, stay tuned.

With less than an hour to go until the free agency period launches, the Miami Dolphins are ready to pursue a player who technically is still the property of another team.

Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that the Dolphins will pursue Cardinals linebacker Karlos Dansby aggressively.

God I hope the Ravens grab Brandon Marshall. If not Brandon, then next preferred would be Boldin. If not Brandon or Boldin, I guess last place would be TO. But hell, even an aging TO/Mason WR combo would be pretty damn good for a temporary fix with that nice run game they've got going...

BIG NEWS!!

The New York Jets' "extreme interest" in Antonio Cromartie should be consummated soon.

Fox's Jay Glazer reports that New York is on the verge of a trade that would send a second or third-round pick in 2011 to the Chargers for the troubled Chargers wideout.

(And in the time it took to write this, ESPN's Adam Schefter says it's a done deal. A 2011 third-round pick could turn into a second-round pick.)

Rex Ryan undoubtedly loves Cromartie's physical skills, but he'll have to teach him how to cover consistently. He'll get plenty of targets playing opposite Revis Island.
He is going to do so bad, he's a little bitch who's afraid to hit somebody.

Looks like the Panthers are ditching Delhomme.
There's speculation he'll get picked up by the Saints.
Why? I dont really understand that one.
He's only going to be a backup, and it's his home state.[/quote:26mi83wm]
I guess I could see him coming to MN ...

Speaking of Minnesota, I cant wait to see what they do with F.A. this offseason.

As much as I can't stand TO and wouldn't want him on the Ravens, they really do need a WR. :( There's been talk of him headed to Balt. We'll see.
