There is nothing like the National.
If you have never been to one, you will be amazed just how huge it is.
It is our showcase, our Super Bowl.
Ive been to them from California to New Jersey with a bunch of Chicago's and Clevland's thrown in and have come home with incredible deals and cards every time.
If you love cards, you cant have more fun at a show than at the National.
I plan on attending for about four days.

I think I'll make the trek this year, being that its in Baltimore, it should be a great opportunity to find some rare hard to find Markakis cards for the PC. Anyone in the metro NYC area drop me a PM so we can work out travel/carpool arrangements :)

I'm not positive yet. But if I make it to either spend a couple of days or to set up I'll definitely be in contact with you Sean so we can try and hook up.

make sure you pm gilmore if you are going to run a table. We would love to get you dressed up in FCB shirts the entire weekend if you are manning a booth

I would definitely do that. Btw, I had fun with the people last year who were doing the FCB T-Shirt hunt. Ken had asked me to participate, which I glady did and I got a kick out of the young and old who were somewhat frantic in they're quest to find all of the tables with shirts. :)

My suggestion is another FCB T Shirt hunt every day at the National. Everyone "caught" wearing one will get an autographed Chris Gilmore card (on card).

Yeah that turned out to be quite a fun contest and was shocked at the large turnout from it. We will have to do something similar again this year.

I'll be going, most likely for three days. It'll be my first Nationals, in general how are prices on singles?

I am planning on being there and already have the time off from work! I have been to about 9 nationals and find every one of them alot of fun.

My daughter lives 8 minutes from the convention center so we are going to combine the national with visiting her, her hubby and my 3 grand kids, one of which will be only about 2 months old at that time. Combine that with seeing the inner harbor, an Orioles game, a trip to Washington DC and possible a day trip to NYC, we have alot planned! Good thing I took 2 weeks off from work!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone and saying hi to BG as well!!

Plan on being there.

Which O's tickets are the best deal for the price? Nothing over $30.

like most shows, it depends on the vendor

and it depends on what the vendor knows

If you see the dude pull out a beckett and start thumbing through it, you can start walking away.

OR if they say its your lucky day and they will sell it to you at 80% book.
