I will sign cruise autographs for anyone interested, free of charge, pending you provide your own item. Limit 3 per person. Only catch is, I'll only be there 1 day, not saying which day or what time, but it's not Thursday.

I will not sign cruise autographs at the Orioles game Thursday night for anyone unless you hand me a crisp authentic $20 bill or a Mike Green card I do not own.

That is all. Can't wait for this shiiii

Terry, keep an eye for these... They have parallel's too

I'm sorry, this is a must, but what the ****, is that for real?!?!?!?

EDIT: Where might I find those exactly?

A lot of companies do ***/12345 for Sample cards.

Its part of a wrapper redemption at their booth.

Ahh that's pretty sweet. I'll have to stop by their booth.

I would like to know the details on this:

From www.acardboardproblem.com :
Here’s a crazy story: A person many of us are friends with on Twitter had a large shipment of 2010 Bowman cards off the get graded and got lost in the mail. This person had somewhere between 40-50 cards in that order and some very low-numbered cards including a superfractor.

Two members who are volunteering for FCB walked passed a booth with lots of 2010 Bowman and, amazingly, sitting in the case were two of these cards, including said superfractor.

The guys called out the dealer and told them exactly what happened and how this person lost their cards in the mail. He said he bought it off eBay, but eventually gave in and handed two cards over, a superfractor and red refractor.

Craziness.

What the hell? Is someone going to fill us in?

does anyone know if parking is going to be a problem??

it might be a little, as it is a work day. Expect to pay around $20 max for the day in a garage.[/quote:h3xwtln1]

gotcha. thats not so bad. Im going saturday so maybe it will be less populated. 20 to park and 20 to get in, 40$ gone before i even walk in the door, but o well.

I can not wait. SO PUMPED [/quote:h3xwtln1]

I parked at 99 S Howard Street garage....I forget the name but it was some with Mariner or Marine in it. I got there at 8ish and left around 5.....cost me $8.....only a block or 2 away from the convention center.

About seeing everything in one day....I say no, unless you spend very little time at each stand. I spent all day back in the corporate section with the wax dealers and card companies, and FCB. I planned to look all around but I just got caught up back there.

And it was a blast!!!!!

Have fun!!!!

Actually, it wasn't 2010 Bowman, and they were my cards. I had sent a large number of cards for the July 2009 FCB order. If you all recall, I had the 2007 Bowman Chrome Draft Superfractor Justin Jackson auto (from Ebay) and the 2007 Bowman Chrome Draft red refractor Justin Jackson auto #5/5 (which I bought from Old Kentucky Shark on here). I had those in the order that got lost (a-hem or stolen) by the USPS. Wes saw the cards on a showcase (forgetting that those were my cards) and texted me asking me if I wanted them. I then responded those are my cards and asked the serial number of the red refractor and serial number matched. Chris and Wes confronted the dealer and informed him that he had stolen goods. The dealer insisted he bought from Ebay (which I believe is BS because I get daily alerts for all Justin Jackson cards) but claimed he felt bad and returned them. I think he probably got my box from the USPS worker for super cheap and giving back those 2 cards wasn't hurting his profit margin much especially given what the rest of the contents of the box were. At least I got those 2 cards back though because they were definitely irreplaceable.

If you were curious what the rest of the box contained - here were a few cards that made me sad that it was gone.

2007 BDPP128 2007 Bowman Draft Chrome Gold Refractor Todd Frazier 25/50
2007 BSP-KA Bowman Sterling Black Refractor Kevin Ahrens 12/25

2008 BSP-GH Bowman Sterling Gold Refractor Greg Halman 43/50

2007 BDPP136 Bowman Draft Chrome Red Refractor Justin Jackson 5/5
2007 BDPP136 Bowman Draft Chrome Superfractor Justin Jackson 1/1

I am grateful to Chris and Wes for convincing that dealer to give back the red refractor and the superfractor to me.

..... I'm speechless. What a scumbag!

I'm heading to Baltimore in about an hour for tonight's O's game and the National tomorrow, I'll be sure NOT to support that guy.

Totally crappy story... I would hate to lose cards... oh wait... someone broke into my car last year in north Philly and stole my ipod, GPS, laptop parts and abour $500 SV in cards... my homeowners deductable was $500 so I only got about half back of what was stolen... people suck

On a brighter note... I will be set up tomorrow with the SCF guys (I will have 1 showcase and 1 or 2 boxes out..)

Really excited to meet some of you and make some deals.

Wow - I saw those cards along with Gilmore and Banning... I am shocked because I never knew Lisa was the one who lost them. I am grateful for those who dealt in order to reclaim the cards back to the rightful owner.

Lisu, you should be in Baltimore and confront these two guys - I wouldn't be surprised if there are more cards of yours lying in the transparent boxes at the National where these guys are holding... If you want, I could take pictures for you...

I know. I am happy to get the 2 irreplaceable cards back at least. If I were there, I would have confronted him myself. It's ok - I am over it, and it wasn't like I could file a police report because it was "lost" in the USPS mail. I do think an USPS employee stole it though because I contacted every USPS lost mail facility there was.

I just got back. My trip was for three days, but I was bored after two and did other stuff in Baltimore today instead of the show.

Just a terrible place to buy stuff, but I knew that going in. Everything is either:

A. Museum Stuff - sellers with great stuff that set up with no intention of selling anything, just to show it off

B. Delusional Sellers - sellers that think that think eBay is a big secret that only they know about and charge 2-3x eBay prices for common stuff

C. Leftovers - sellers that know what the deal is, and for that reason have nothing really interesting left to buy

I bought one card for myself and a few handfuls of cards to flip. I did drop about 6k cards off at COMC. We'll see how that goes. It was fun to check out the stuff some of the auction houses brought that I could never own. I didn't mess with getting any autographs or waiting in line for two hours to get a Strasburg Topps card.

edit: Oh yeah, I got a Mantle JSA'd and my daughter got a ball from the Thursday O's v Angels game.

Lisu - Wes told me after I posted the story that it wasn't 2010, but I didn't want to name you or anything that would give you away because I didn't know if you wanted people to know it was you. So, I decided to just leave it as 2010 because I figured it hid you better.

So, glad you got the cards backs. Marie and I visited the guy after Wes had gotten the cards and he was not happy to see more people from Freedom Cardboard.
