Ahh yes. That's the name! I forget! haha.
Here's my photobucket link (I should add it to my signature): Mobile Photobucket
It's basically everything I have loaded to this thread so far. I'll continue to add scans to it and I tend to post my youtube update videos on this thread when they are relevant.
I was a little disapointed with the National as I didn't find many dealers with modern era cards. I understand they have big overhead for the show and need to sell vintage but I only found a few dealers that had modern stuff. Only found 10 Bonds cards I needed and posted the most notable on here but they weren't anything high end. I plan to attend next year's in Cleveland and hope for a better draw.

Thanks for the post. I have this card but it's not autographed. It certainly does look like his signature. I have the card but I don't believe it's autographed. I'll dig it up when I get home. I do have a few signed 8x10's and photo cards of his. I'll try to scan those and we can compare. Obviously if you were to sell, you'd get the best price having it certified by JSA/PSA.

Well actually, it is autographed, as clearly the ink is on the surface of the card and not part of the printing process. You can see in this example of several samples of the card, the ink is not in the same place on every card, so therefore it is NOT an auto pen. Now whether or not it is ghost signed is the real story, but it is definitely surface ink on the card.

Sorry. I should have worded my response better. I was just noting that I have the card but it doesn't have any signature. I'll do my best to get some scans up of some Bonds autos I have from some photo cards and 8x10s around the same time period. My guess is that the autograph would pass as authentic if submitted.

Here's a page I found which may be of some service dealing with Bonds autos.
DUSTY's DUGOUT | eBay id = kneepain

Here's a couple 8x10 autos I have. One's the early 90s style signature while the other is a late 90's version. I apologize for the glare!

Yes, I was surprised on the ending price as well. Either an anxious set collector trying to finish the set, or some shill bidders at work there trying to drive the end price up.

Yeah I think the Fleer bankruptcy had something to do with these unsigned/unnumberd cards.I picked this up as a novelty,so I am guessing someone did the same a forged an auto to it.Sad thing is a less informed person would think it was legit as it states on the card "authentic autograph".

Darn it. I suppose that's why I won it for such a good price. I don't think I've seen an unsigned one like yours. Will need to pick up one of those.

No bud your good. The ones that I would stay away from are the signed unslabbed ones like the Ebay auction one.The *** slabbed are legit,I own 6 of them and yes they sell very low sometimes which is good for Bonds collectors.
