2005 Absolute /50 and /5 ( Just need the 1/1 now for the rainbow)


1949 Big League Productions print


1950 B&W print JSA signature (need to do some research on this one to see if it's something more than just a picture)

2004 Prime Cuts / 10

2004 Donruss TH Showdown /150 (Numbered to 150 but I have never seen one in all the years so not sure if there's more background to this or not)

And last but not least 2013 Tristar Cut #5 ( Don't usually buy this stuff, but the cut and sig look clean and it's on the Beckett checklist, so for $15 bucks I'll happily cross off another one)

Actually it didn't really suprise me because the last one went for over $400 last year. Kinda suprised it went that low.

I was unaware of that sale buddy-I would of bid higher if I had known! And another crazy price on another Doerr card today, this time a Topps Update 1/1

which is essentially a normal index card sig--thought for sure my $207 bid would be enough. Good lessons learned the past few days on the current market! Guess I have to adjust my budget to battle for these cards in the future. Just hope they went to a fellow Doerr collector. Post coming tomorrow with my pickups for the last few weeks.

Yeah um, that bid on the Strata was me...
I knew it would go big and it wasn't even close to my high bid so I'm pretty happy.
I know it's just an index card but I love those Strata cards and was going to own it no matter what.

Haha that's awesome and congrats James!! Looks like we are back to our old battles! I wax pretty upset about losing it but as long as Scotty or you won it I feel a lot better! One of these days I need a list of all your 1/1s so I can cross them off my search list!

San Diego Padres signed version of 1991 Upper Deck Heroes

Scorecard from July 31, 1946-Red Sox @ Cleveland Indians--Bob Feller 1-hit the Red Sox that day, with Bobby Doerr getting the only hit in the 2nd inning --in great shape considering it's 68 years old!!

No idea what these stickers are---can't find anything on any of my checklists about these

Ud HOF #/10

Masters Series #/125

America's Pasttime Green #/10

#/25 --it's sad to see how much Doerr's signature has declined in the past few years

Last part of the last post got messed up, so will post these here--

Panini 75th Anniversary- Base auto, #/25, #/10


It's very frustrating to see the numbered versions as sticker autos ( most likely from old inventory at Panini) while the base autos look like new signatures on card! Wonder why Panini did it that way...

Guys does Bobby still sign TTM? I've sent him 4 things and haven't gotten any return yet. 3 were to the 94449 Junction Terriotrrial addy & one was to PO. Two of them were only ~2 weeks ago so I will hopefully get a return

I haven't sent him anything lately but his signature on the official products has begun to rapidly decline so he may be cutting back on the TTM stuff. May want to check sites likes star tiger (formerly star archive) to see if they have any current results for him.

Grabbed another another card I've had in my watchlist forever too

(terrible scan I know)

And my newest and new favorite Doerr card!!!

I really love these Strara cards, they are ever better in person.

Awesome pickups James! Love the look of those Authentix HT cards! The Reese/Doerr is one of my favorites in my collection-wish they would combo those two more instead of the same other combos they keep putting out there. And I'm still very jealous of the strata, but glad it's in a great home!
