Here's my haul for the day. I focused mostly on cards. Curious if anyone wants to guess what I paid total for this.

First bunch, some Heritage Clubhouse Cards I needed. Best deal was the 2003 card.

Second lot is New Age Performers, mostly 2010, but also the only 2009 I needed to finish that set:

Also found 13 of the 50 "Series 2" Heritage Chrome cards for this year (two of them actual refractors):

A nice lot of Frank Thomas cards. I love the '52 Topps refractor.

Lots of 2010 White Sox chrome and refractors (the curl on these is crazy when they are out of toploaders!) and an almost-complete T206 set (minus Danks and Buehrle)

Finally, some miscellaneous cards, including a Dye game used I didn't have and some White Sox Griffey love.

It's fun going through boxes....but it's time consuming.

Phillyfan keeps hitting on the furry chicks.

Well, based on what I have seen he should not have much competition from the male furries. If you can't get tail at a furry convention.....you just can't get tail.

$20 for the lot?

Nah, not that cheap, but I was happy to get a lot of the Heritage stuff for around $1 a piece, even the game used.

I wish I had the time and money to dabble in the older stuff. There were some amazing tables w/ 50s and 60s stuff.

Frannie's Italian Beef

It was wonderful

You want to search for Gene and Jude's if you get a chance (they are a couple of miles down the road (South on Des Plaines River Road). You won't regret it.

I'll be there Sunday. I'm kind of excited, it'll be the first card show I've ever been to.

Whenever you go to a multi-day card show like this and you go on the last day, make sure to go early. There are a lot less customers walking around during the last few hours, so some dealers pack up early.

That's what I figured. We're going to be there when the doors open at 10. I also assumed the prices would be the best on the last day.
