Hey guys. I was wondering if you had any idea for the value of this:

1998 (I think) Bowman (regular bowman, not chrome) Derek Jeter Golden Anniversary /50

This card was purchased along time ago, while I was new to the hobby and very ignorant of card values so I'm almost too embarrassed to say what was actually spent on it lol.

Thanks Tony. Here is a nice late 90's oddball. To the left is the regular sized card.

Woah now that's a big fish! Lol
How do you store that?

I'm trying to upload my recent acquisitions but FCB won't let iPhone pics be uploaded anymore - bummer

i sold 4 jeter cards last year because of money issues. I started a few days after hurricane sandy replacing the 4 holes. I have now officially begun to build my jeter collection. Im focusing alot on the Upper Deck highlights auto set and the other nice ones from ultimate. It's still small but im sure ill love the process.

Here are the ones ive picked up since October.

Yankee Clippings Auto print run of under 15? Don't know the exact

Nice pick ups! Did you recently pick these up from iluvsuadek07 on ebay?

I picked up the the ultimate highlights from iluvsuadek07.

I have these 3 coming in as well. The UD Timeline auto from him as well.
I don't have these in hand yet, but they are on there way. Be8el0ve, You have one of the most beautiful collections i have ever seen. Your photobucket made me realize i do not have enough cards of one of my all time favorites. Have you been buying any of his cards? He has some great cards. He must be making a MINT of his unloading of them.

Thanks for the compliment. I bought some of his patch cards. He's making some $$$ on the autos but I know for a fact that he lost money on some of his jersey/patch cards. I guess it all balances out. Its strange that he advertises on his auctions that he's looking for rare Jeter cards but he's selling some of Jeter's rarest cards - /10, /5, etc. I guess he must have tons of dups.

Do you remember when he sold the raw clippings auto? I emailed to see if he had another and he said he had a couple lol. I ended up buying the graded one that popped up from a seller who obtained the card from the former VP of fleer. I asked iluvdek if he had a few other jeter cards (the ones i sold) but he said he didn't have duplicates. So he is most likely only selling duplicates which is NUTS if you think about it

I just picked up the Bowmans best Jeter auto for $130. Seemed like a decent price since others have been going $180-$200+ recently so I couldn't pass it up.

And while I'm at it, here's my small Jeter auto collection.

The Jeter/Clemens is available for anyone who is interested. I also have this quad jersey if anyone needs it as well

Derek Jeter returns to work on field

By Andrew Marchand | ESPNNewYork.com
NEW YORK -- Derek Jeter is back on the field, taking grounders and swinging again for the first time since he reinjured his ankle, New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said Monday.
Jeter took 25 dry swings and fielded 20 grounders hit right at him in Tampa on Monday. He also played long toss from 180 feet.

Jeter, who hasn't played yet this season, will continue to gain further clearance with the consultation from the Charlotte-based Dr. Robert Anderson, who performed the procedure last October.
The timetable for Jeter's return is still after the All-Star break and Cashman declined to put a more specific date on it. Cashman wasn't positive if Monday was the first time that Jeter had returned to the field since the Yankees announced he reinjured the ankle in the middle of April.
The Yankees have made their minor league facility largely inaccessible to the media, so this is the first time that anyone has known that Jeter was back on the field doing "baseball activities."
Jeter, who turns 39 on June 26, originally fractured the ankle during Game 1 of the Yankees ALCS loss to the Detroit Tigers. After the surgery, the Yankees and Jeter hoped he would return by Opening Day.

Instead Jeter suffered the small crack in the repaired ankle, causing him to miss at least the first half of the season.
In his place, the Yankees started with Eduardo Nunez as their shortstop, but Nunez has been on the DL now for a month with an oblique injury. Jayson Nix and Reid Brignac are currently the Yankees shortstops.
"We are running guys out there who are doing everything they can to help," Cashman said. "It is not the left side of the infield you typically would construct, but these guys are major league players. They are competitors and they are allowing us to hold the fort."
