I collect Bo Jackson (primarily), Frank Thomas, and the following sets I'm trying to assemble: 2003 & 2005 Timeless Treasures Silver #/50 (one of each player), 2005 Studio Portraits (eight different fronts of each player, ALL Bo, ALL Frank Thomas), 2005 Topps Finest Blue XFractor #/150 (one of each player), 2007 Topps M&M #/29 & #/150. I also still need 5 of the 8 frontal variations in the 2005 Studio Portraits set (I have Red-Color, Blue-B&W, Sepia-Color, and need other 5 frontal variations of Jeter)

How many cards of Jeter do you have at this point? In a year, would you say that you obtain more than are made?

b8elove: do you buy duplicates of jeters when they pop up because i know you have had for example the 2000 ud jersey/auto before just this month? Also by any chance do you have the jeter/ripken 2007 sp authentic chirography dual auto /75

I bought mine off of ebay. They came in the 2010 Upper Deck Series 1 retail packs. They're short printed and only available in retail packs making them tough to get. The card books for $100.00. I've only seen 3 of them on ebay so far and they've sold close to or above $100.00.

Certain cards I do buy duplicates, especially if I really like them, but for the most part I only buy one copy of each card. I try to let other collectors share in the enjoyment of having a certain card. In the case of the 2000 Upper Deck jersey/auto, I bought them both within days of each other. When looking at them in auction, to me it looked like one was signed in blue and the other in black ink. I wanted to have both versions if they existed. When I received both cards in the mail, one copy was actually a darker ink version of the other.

I had an opportunity to obtain a Jeter/Ripken 07 SP Authentic dual auto but the seller wanted too much at the time. Surprisingly, I don't own any Jeter/Ripken dual autos of any set. I set my snipes and always get outbidded.

Be8el0ve: Awesome collection! And in case you did not know this yet, the Jeter cut signature from Razor is actually a letter that Jeter signs for Steiner, and that letter accompanies game used gear of Jeters.
