i met zack (ziko), pretty fly kid..... let me crack some packs of his, rly appreciate that. I sold alot of prospect stuff today and made some decent money. I have a decent amount of money but didn't see anything at the show to drop by money on, maybe some of Joe's Pelfs's .!!! Anyway, it was pretty busy. Messier, be sure to stop by my table on the stage w/ my brother. Tell me who you are too man!

it was the good, come say hi when you come, and tell me who you are. I met JEA today, John, nice guy, sold him some older cards. I'm w/ my brother right on the left side of the stage near the stairs. come say hi!

I met Avery, kind of a jerk... turns out he screwed me on a few cards :twisted:

Seriously, show was pretty solid, much busier than I expected for a Thursday night. Met Avery, his brother sunnyd, jcmint, NEC, and Johan Santana 57 tonight, all good people. As is standard with most shows, it was heavy on the vintage. I didn't really have a gameplan as far as what I was looking for and ended up getting some really random stuff. Here's a list of my haul:

Baseball:
- 06 BCDP Clayton Kershaw Auto RC
- 73 Topps Goose Gossage RC (Auto'd)
- 84 Topps Don Mattingly RC
- (3) 95 Bowman's Best Bobby Abreu RC

Football:
- 81 Topps Joe Montana RC
- 84 Topps John Elway RC
- 56 Topps Lenny Moore RC (Auto'd)
- 99 Topps Chrome Daunte Culpepper Refractor RC (always loved the look of this set)
- Jets stuff (Dustin Keller UD Premiere GU Auto, Pennington GU Jersey, Brooks Bollinger SP Signature Auto)

Basketball:
- 86-87 Fleer Isiah Thomas RC
- 57-58 Bill Sharman RC (Auto'd)

Like I said, very random mix of stuff, but I came home pretty happy.

Im tired as hell but I had fun. I walked the show just once or twice briefly, not intending to buy any singles. Nothing really caught my eye anyway. I ended up chilling with joe + tom for a few hours, and then dave came for a while as well. I ripped 07 BC, got a will venable chrome auto so I just left it on Tom's table. Then I ripped 08 draft and last pack pulled an inoa redemption. Not horrible. I also split a pack of ult. collection bktball with tom and got a 4x jersey, trash. I didnt do too hot but I dont mind much, it was a fun show and I got to meet some new people. Cool stuff

How are you gonna get on Venable like that knowing full well that the Venable collector has read and posted in this thread?! Seriously though, if it's still there tomorrow, it's likely I buy it. Might as well add another one to the however many I already own.
