Supposedly in this year's UD Ice product, the /99 Rookies are 1 per case. In previous years, they were not guaranteed, and people busted multiple cases and did not pull one.

Anyway, picked this up for my small, but growing PC of Christian Hanson. Love the look of this card.

The /99 RC's generally sell overpriced for the first few months. I'd wait for the off season or beginning of next to grab one. Do love the look of this product always.

Yeah that is good advice. Or at least wait until SP Authentic, Ultimate and the Cup come out, so there is some attention taken off of these.

I do want to get a Tavares ice /99 RC before next season starts though.

I haven't sent a TTM request in like 2 years, but 2 stranglers came in the mail today. It's funny how you don't receive anything for months, and all of a sudden 2 arrive on the same day from the same state (Florida). Anyways I received Jason Taylor (I know its football, but I don't go over there LOL), and Steven Stamkos on a Lightning puck.

I can't wait to re-start TTM again in August.

Stamkos Puck is amazing Adam!!!

I want to get back into the TTM scene again too. Its pretty cool getting stuff like that back in the mail. I haven't done TTM in probably about 5 years. I used to send out like 20-30 requests a month back in the day, got many great returns. The problem i always had (and the reason why i don't do it anymore) was getting USA stamps, that had enough postage to go from the US to Canada. Where do u get your US stamps from Adam? None of the post offices here in Calgary sell them. When i was doing the TTM a number of years ago, i was making many trips to the US, sometimes up to 4 times a year i would drive down to the border or Great Falls, Montana or even Spokane, Washington. Calgary to the USA border at Cotts is under 3 hours and i would drive there to buy my stamps. I used to go and buy like $100-$200 worth of US stamps at a time so i would be stocked up. I wish there was an easier way to buy USA stamps.

Thanks for the comments! Was excited to see them in the mail for sure.

Bilko, I actually bought mine on eBay of all places. At the time I think the US was using $0.42 stamps for letters, so i'd find sellers selling lots of $0.39, and $0.40 cent stamps. They wouldn't be that cheap, but they'd be a bit cheaper than the total denomination. I was sending hockey pucks at the time which cost about $2.55 from US to Canada so either way I needed like 7 stamps on the return.

I haven't checked eBay in a while, but hope they still have people selling them. Otherwise i'm in trouble too!! :o

duh, i didnt even think about checking out ebay. Im also gonna look into the US Postal website. Maybe you can order stamps there that have the correct postage for US to Canada. I definitely want to start doing some TTMs again soon. Once the CHL Hockey season begins again in September and i know who is on what teams, i might start doing a bunch of CHL teams as well. In years past i find that i get the most success with young players.

Speaking of Stamps.....

I picked up these Montreal Canadiens 100 anniversary Canada Post stamps yesterday when i was in the post office mailing some things away. They cost $9 bucks for all 3 ($3 each) and are actually Canada stamps that you can use to mail stuff. They look absolutely amazing in-person as the stamps are holograms and show like a scene.
