Ugh, ebay is irritating tonight. Some ass hat named tacscollectibles has been listing a ton of 90s commons base Bagwells, with no picture of the cards. just a generic big ass clip art of a baseball. Add to that the fact that he is asking 9.99 a card! Who in there right mind actually pays ten bucks for a base card?

totally interferes with my ebay searching...

Hey guys,

I haven't been around in a while because work has been super busy. But I still have some pickups to share:

00 Upper Deck MVP Game Used Souvineers Game Used Glove
This is a double but I really wanted a unique piece with the lettering from the glove

04 AM Spectrum Gold Autograph /25

2004 Classic Clippings Bat Rack Trio Red /50

2004 Fleer Patchworks National Patchtime Patch /100

2003 Fleer Patchworks National Patchtime Patch /100

99 Topps Tek Gold /10
This is #11

97 Score Stand and Deliver Gold

And the Big one

97 Pinnacle Certified Certified Team Mirror Gold /25
The scan is not great, but looks awesome in person
This is the only one I've seen over the past 10 years so I had to pick it up because I didn't think I would see one again.

97 Score Stand and Deliver

Dan

I took a stab at this one, but my pocketbook wouldnt allow me to do much damage.

and that glove card isnt a double, its a totally different card. I put that on the same level as a grey swatch vs a white swatch. Or pinstripe vs no pinstripe.

I was able to snag mine when midnitefrog was selling all the Bagwell stuff a while back. Hope you got a decent price on it. The glove card is sick. I have one as well but I think yours is a little more unique. Cool stuff man.

I received a great mailday today from a fellow FCBer. I helped him with his Cameo collection, and in return I got a pair of Bagwells which I needed. But one was extra special. It has been a card that has been missing from my PC since my prewedding sale of my collection 14 years ago. So, this rainbow is complete once again!

Thanks weight333!

And...

I got my fourth Graded Rookie. Its a slow process, but I'll get em all eventually.

Got in the card COMC didnt ship because it was in their canada warehouse and had to be shipped seperately. Didnt charge more to do it either, and still came bubble enveloped.

Hello, new poster here to these forums and I absolutely love this thread. I am a die hard Cardinals fan but Jeff Bagwell has been my favorite player since I was a kid. I have been collecting him for years! Well I should say when I was a kid I collected him hardcore then sorta grew out of collecting in my teen years and most adult life. About 2 years ago I have hit the ground running again collecting cards and Bagwell. With the long absence I lost (or misplaced) most of every card I had. I then found a little book that had about 20-30 Bagwell's in it and ever since then I have been getting anything Bags. I haven't counted what I have but its gotta be in the 300 hundreds. Not as much as you guys but its a start lol. I can't believe I have found a thread dedicated to a player I thought I only collected and love and passion everyone has for each other in here. I love it! Can't wait to show off what I have and share it with this community. Keep up the great work guys and keep this thread alive!

Chevelle - Welcome aboard. There are but a few of us Bagwell collectors here, and we are always willing to help out a fellow collector. I have a doubles box packed full of Bags that I'm sure you could use. If you are interested in a couple, let me know. If you want a bunch, I am always willing to sell em cheap so I can add to the funding of my next tattoo. I sold Nick a bunch of my Biggios and all of his money went into my tattoo of my oldest daughters name. Now its time for my youngest daughter, and It would mean so much more knowing that cards paid for that tattoo as well. PM me anytime!

Oh, and you can see most of my doubles on my website.

Nice tat :)

Glad to know my money went towards that! Its awesome!!

oh, i thought you knew. Yeah, when you bought that big chunk of my Biggios, i turned around and used it all on the tattoo. And it makes for a nice addition to the story of getting the tattoo. In fact, just last night i got to see an old friend, and in my telling of the tattoo, it was "and I sold a good portion of my Biggios to pay for it".

Thanks. I could have sworn you guys had seen this already. I came up with this design of using her name mixed with the Astros logo back before she was even born. My sister in law even had it put on the baby shower cake. I knew that one day i would get it tattooed, and when i moved back to CA, it turned out that our delivery driver is also a licensed tattoo artist (hes actually doing it full time at a shop now). He wanted to do it, and i wanted it done, but just needed the funds. And then Nick came along and needed my cards. It totally worked out.

Now, my second daughter is next for the other arm, and im back in the same boat. Have a design, have a tattoo artist, dont have the funds. Eventually it will happen. But it would be cool if it were the same type of story as with Alisons tattoo. To sell a chunk of Bagwells, or my Berkman collection to pay for it. How cool would that be?

"Yeah, i sold a bunch of Biggios to pay for Alison, and i sold a bunch of Bagwells to pay for Avery."

That would be sweet...

:D
