Ebay. Was a BIN. I skipped past it at first, then took a closer look. Was pretty excited to pick it up

Dan

Definitely an awesome pick up. I wonder how many times I quickly skip over something like this when looking though the Dawson auctions on eBay.

Anybody see that wood grain looking 1/1 auto on eBay out of museum collection? It sold already but man! That thing was sick!

It would have looked nicer in gold. And what's Topps' obsession with thick pens?

Still a rad card though

Don't know. I saw a Biggio the other day at the shop that was sweet looking but they used what looked like a dried out silver sharpie for him to sign it(black background...some museum collection parallel of some sort).Kinda made me a bit sick looking at how such an awesome card was degraded by the choice of marker.

Yeah, I really liked that card. If I wasn't moving in 5 weeks and hadn't just dropped $1200 on medical licensing then I would have tried to be in on it.

Finally got around to scanning, naming, and uploading a few months worth of cards on Saturday. I still need to put them in their respective binders, but in the meantime they will sit with the others from last year I havent "put away" yet.

Instead of listing 80 cards, I'm gonna post some key hits.

First off, The White Whale of the year. the 1992 Donruss Super DK. And by luck would have it, its graded.

1992%20Donruss%20Super%20DK%27S%20DK11%20BGS%20GEM%209.5.jpg

A few Autos. This 91 Studio I saw in a Lot with 20 other cards. Just got the lot for the auto. Figured I would send it in to be slabbed in the next grading submission.

1991%20Studio%20172%20Autograph.jpg

This Gold signature on the Leaf Black Gold just looked so good, I had to have it. Gonna slab this as well.

1992%20Leaf%20Black%20Gold%2028%20Autograph.jpg

and this one was already slabbed. I cant believe they knock the grade on its surface because its autographed...

1997%20Donruss%20Signature%20Autographs%20Millennium%209%200139.jpg

And picked this up at an excellent price

1997%20SP%20Vintage%20Autographs%203%2068%20of%20292.jpg

ok, enough autos. Lets see what else I got.

Finally got a red one
2002%20UD%20Authentics%20Reverse%20Negative%20Jerseys%20Gold%20RJB%20232%20of%20275.jpg

And this is my third. I already had a black one, and a white one. Now a stripe. Yes, I count them as different.
2003%20Upper%20Deck%20UD%20Superstar%20Slam%20Jerseys%20JB%20Stripe.jpg

I had a quad green, now I have a triple.
2004%20Classic%20Clippings%20Bat%20Rack%20Triple%20Green%20BTH%20050%20of%20175.jpg

Finally completed this rainbow with getting this gold!
1996%20Leaf%20Gold%20Press%20Proofs%20199.jpg

Got the sample...
1996%20Pinnacle%20Aficionado%20Magic%20Numbers%20Sample%205.jpg

and finally got the skylines! Paid more than I would have liked, but this card doesnt comes along too often.
1996%20Pinnacle%20Skylines%2016.jpg

Got more... But figured if you wanted to see em, you could just visit my site sometime. Got three more 98 Teks, more 2014 Teks, some newer prizms, and museum collections. A few more game used, and more pacific numbered parallels. Its been a nice few months, having the extra money by selling t shirts has helped. Very glad I got that Super DK knocked off the lists, and stoked to find three more 98 Teks. Getting closer to all 90, but still have a ways to go. Thanks for looking!

Really nice pickups. The DK super was a great one. Also the IP autos look pretty nice. I bet if you crack the 98 donruss signature it would get a better grade, or just look better outside of the holder.

Sweet stuff Nate. But did they really knock that auto down to a 5 because it's auto'd? That's the dumbest thing I've heard of.....the damn things were made that way! It's not like you got IP. If that's true, then how can any of these prospect cards be 9's and 9.5's with autos on them?

Yeah, the back says
centering 9
corners 7
edges 8.5
surface 4

not that i care about the grade. Its my first auto from that set.

thanks for the input guys. Yeah, i never thought the super DK would ever sit in my collection. Now i have 7 months to pick a new white whale for 2016!
