1995 Leaf Gold Leaf Stars Promo


1997 Donruss Rocket Launchers Promo
I wasn't totally sure about these promos, at least I've never seen ones of other players. At the very least I think they may have been factory replacements that were backdoored. The corner cuts are different on the bottom right corners, the 1995 looks like a 45 degree angle, but the 1997 looks a bit off. Either way, was suspicious, and wasn't going to pay the $100 each when they were first listed, but after waiting it out got them for $10 each so i was willing to take the risk. Interested in what you guys think, which is why I scanned both sides.

Yes I didn't pick up the 3rd letter but there were a couple other cards that I wanted just as much, if not more. Here are a few of them:

Missed out on one a few years back. I think this is only the 3rd one I've ever seen listed. No refractor lines also. Really excited to add one of my most wanted cards to my collection

Nice stuff and nice price on that Red. You got a good deal considering what the last one ended at... Was eyeing that super from tribute but just couldn't do it. Not this close to Christmas. When it was gone, figured you'd snagged it. Nice addition.

Wasn't there some people here a while back bidding up these(red crusades) and the 96 certified mirror golds to keep their prices higher? Maybe it was just the mirror golds. Hopefully the flood gates open up on those soon as I know we all need one and the prices will be realistic...

Thanks. I was really surprised with the end price. May have been that he listed the title as 1997 Crusade possibly? I was prepared to pay a lot more based on what the last one sold for.

I guess the 1997 could have mattered, I would typically search Crusade or Crusade Red, but it sure didn't help. At a minimum I would have thought the market would be $300+. If I could find a Clark at 5 xs what you paid I'd be happy.

If I remember correctly this was the exact card that was in the old print version of beckett to show of the set. Exact serial number and patches. Thought that was really cool when it a came up for auction
