What a stat ~ in 13 games a running back for the Browns has scored 1 TD.

That is NUTS.

I can't believe they are going on and on about how well the Browns ran the ball....other than Cribbs they averaged 3.0 ypc on 30 rushes.

Their best RB got hurt and is on IR.

Stupid thing to say Brad. Don't you know their best RB has a 3.3 ypc career average? (Just read the last page in case you missed that segment)

Just messin with you of course, you're part of our nomadic family  :grouphug:

I swear to Christ you guys are all live under one roof.....it is like a family of nomads going from one thread to another.

No, we don't all live under one roof, but we all do have one thing in common.....WE USE OUR BRAIN!!! It would be nice to see you use yours every once in a while, but unfortunately for us, we're STILL waiting for that moment.

Isn't it obvious to you, that no matter where you go, people always disagree with you??? Shouldn't that tell you something??? Whether it's here in the football section, over in the baseball section, and even on cbssportsline.com's message board. ::facepalm::

He has his baseball prospector's mentality that if you hype a guy enough, there will be enough idiots who do not check stats or know much about the guy, but will go drop money on him because a board member said so.

WAIT A SECOND...

If we're all nomads, how can we all live under one roof? Doesn't that mean we'd be migrating without a roof. Talk about an oxymoron.

Lose 5 str8.

Lose to the Chiefs, Raiders and now the Browns.

They won the SB last year.... BUT

Does this streak and who they lost to put Mike Tomlin on the hot seat?

No, it's ridiculous that you would even think that. The same thing happened after SB XL during Cowher's last year, but he was ready to move on anyways. The Steelers aren't like other NFL organizations, where they give up on a coach just because of one bad season and because they lost to a few horrible teams. You're talking about a team that has had 2 coaches in 37 years prior to Tomlin. If anyone is on the hotseat, it should be OC Bruce Arians, his playcalling this year has been horrendous.

I think the truth is somewhere in between - he's not on the hot seat, but he doesn't emerge from this unscathed. I think it just shortened the honeymoon period, and speculation will start next year in training camp..."well, if there are TWO down years in a row"...that sort of thing. Whereas before, if he'd gone 11-5 or so this year, he's probably 3 years away from worrying about anything.

But, they'll bounce back next year, and this will just be an anomaly.

I'm curious to see how Tomlin does next year. He could be another Switzer. I agree on the OC. The did not run the ball enough last night.

A question did cross my mind from this - Is Tomlin going to be great for them? The team that won the SB last year was basically the one he inherited. The guys playing now aren't all "his" guys.

I know teams have their struggles, and he's in no way in trouble yet. I'm just thinking out loud.

As a Bengals fan, I hate the Steelers and Browns (Ravens too). I like to see the Steelers have bad seasons because we've had so many. I am very surprised by this Steelers team though. They have built a solid organization there and I can't believe they have lost 5 in a row. The Steelers are always dangerous and play well on the game's biggest stages. I'm just wondering if that could be part of the problem.

I know a lot of Steelers fans that always tell me, "They'll be fine in the playoffs", and I do agree. The Steelers play well in January and beyond, but you have to make it there first. If there is any 6-7 team that could make the playoffs, it would be the Steelers. I know you can't win the SB in the regular season, but they need to play better during the regular season to ensure they get a chance at the SB.

I don't think Tomlin is a bad coach by any means. I agree with the talk about Arians though. They seem to have gotten away from Steeler football this year.

To all the Steelers fans, like I said, I hate your team. I do respect them and the organization though.

Do people in Pittsburgh have intimate affairs with sheep on a regular basis? What's with that ad?

Anyone with a half functioning brain can tell that the ad was photoshopped. Hell, it doesn't even look like photoshop was used, looks more like it was done in paint.

No, I get that. My half-brain figured that out.
I'm talking about the context of the ad. Why would that be the ad that gets Pittsburgh to check someone's background?

Tim + 6 shots of tequila = reason for the ad.

Sorry Tim  ;)
