OFFICIAL Recent Pick Up Thread

I see "recent pick up" threads come and go. I thought I'd make an "official thread" for recent pick ups because I'm always very curious to see everybody's new additions. Maybe this can also be a thread where collectors can show off their new pick ups that don't quite fit into the more popular player and set collector threads.

I hate to admit it but I've been pretty bored with my Hoffman and Gwynn player collections. I can't find any new Caminiti cards to collect so I decided to branch out and pick up a few cards that caught my eye.

I hate the Giants and Dodgers but LOVE Topps Tribute. Here are a few of my more recent pick ups. Lets see yours!

Carew will be out here for Twins Caravan. The details for the event say he won't sign, but I figured I would bring a card just in case.

Basically stopped buying for some time, but made a couple of pick-ups recently on items I thought were solid prices:

Face of a NY team (albeit the Mets) and had a great bounce back season last year. $300 seems like a deal to me...

A /50 from 2000. A 1999 Epic Signatures Auto /100 went for $340. This set is not quite as popular, but twice as rare and quite a bit cheaper...

Yup. It fits into both my Japanese and Padres PC. Plus I love that all 4 swatches are different colors. Couldn't pass it up for $1.36.

A really good day at the shop a couple weeks ago. Bought the Yaz, pulled the Gwynn, and won the Musial.

Started the year off right. My goal for 2013 was to find 4 Signing Bonus's of HOF's that I do not have. Just got this one in a few days ago and I should have another new one in a few days. I now have 29 signing bonus's with 20 of them of HOF members.

They are about 8x10 or 9x11 in size. You can tell the size compared to the card that is inside the frame.

Right now I only have 6 on the wall, but I switch them up every few months.
