I just got back from Florida, we saw 10 game in 8 days. Most of the games were yankee ones! My main goal this year was to get some World Series baseballs signed by the Yankees, here is what i got:

Johnny Damon signed world series ball: signed it on the sweetspot, kinda disappointing as i wanted to start a team ball but not with that

Phil Coke: signed world series ball right under the logo (looks perfect!) he didnt seem to happy that he was a tiger though. I saw him in the outfield, asked to sign a ball, he said "not now". I said something like, "No worries, but thanks for helping the Yankees win the world series" He then responds with "Yeah, look where it got me" -For those that dont know he got traded to the tigers in the Curtis Granderson trade

And the best success of the spring:
Mariano Rivera signed world series ball! He didnt sign it under the logo, but he has the best signature ever so i cannot complain

I also got a OMLB signed by the following Yankees:
-Jesus Montero
-Nick Johnson
-Boone Logan
-Mark Melancon
-Jon Albaladejo
-Jamie Hoffman
-Juan Miranda
and a couple others i cant remember right now

Overall it was a great trip and saw some great games!

That is funny! I got the same impression from him at Tigersfest. I told him, "Welcome to a good team.", He said, "What's wrong with the Yankees? I like those guys!" I laughed and said, "You are right, you got a ring with them." He is a REALLY nice guy, but did seem disappointed.

After he came over to sign for me and two others, i said "If it makes you feel any better, granderson hasnt hit worth a darn this spring" He kinda shrugged it off and said "It is what it is" He probably just seemed bummed because he just won the ring and then he got dealt, o well. He is a real nice guy and has a really cool signature

Has ST been brutal to anyone else this season? I've never gone 0-fer ever before.

I went 0-10 during last ST, but I think I got 5 back during the season. Hopefully you'll get some. I've only got 5 of 22 so far this year though, but I did get an odd surprise as noted in my blog from Todd Redmond. Sent back a stack a cards signed I didn't even send.

If any of the extra Redmond's might be available, he's a Pirate I still need for my collection. I sent to him once or twice a couple years ago with no luck, so maybe you ended up with all the cards from the non-returns

Send me a PM. I'd be happy to help.

All were 9 days

Hideki Okajima 1/1
Alfredo Figaro 2/2
Matt LaPorta 1/1
Ryan Feierabend 2/2
Jacob Turner 1/2, kept 1
Fu-Te Ni 1/2, returned the other
Mike Rabelo 3/3
Dan Schlereth 2/2

On a side note, this Phil Coke story reminds me of another disgruntled Tigers/Yankees reliever. Let's just pray that Coke doesn't end up being like Kyle Farnsworth. ::facepalm::

The Riverlands.
Got Mike Trout today. I sent him a 2009 Tristar and he signed his own custom card in black sharpie instead. My weirdest return ever.

Yeah Melancon was kind of tough to get. I saw him sign two autographs the entire time i was there. One for me, and one for a little girl. He just kind of seems shy toward fans. many pitchers were signing the day i got him (Rivera, Park, Logan etc.) but he didnt seem to want to sign at all, but did give a nice signature
