I wouldn't mind seeing him do what they were talking about during the fight. Going down to 170 to fight GSP then moving up to Heavyweight and challenging himself there. 185's a damn joke for him. And people who think Vitor would beat him, just look at what happened when he fought the guy most people thought could beat him too, Dan Henderson. Vitor would have gotten beat too.

Only fight I'd reall be exstatic to see concerning Anderson would be for him to fight Rogerio. I'd mark out huge for that 205 fight. More so than a 170 fight with GSP, because I feel that Anderson would just be too much for Georges with the reach and kicks.

UFC wants to test Anderson, get his ass in there with Rogerio. He won't be able to ***** foot around with Lil Nog like he does these chumps at 185.

But that'll never happen.

He wont fight Lil Nog because he trains with them. Thats one of the reasons he doesnt want to move up to light heavyweight. He done said he wouldnt fight Machida because they were friends. This is really getting old. If you want to fight you should have to fight whoever. If nothing else move up to heavyweight. He could easily put on 30-40lbs.

Hence me saying it would never happen.

It is ********.

And Dana said that whole thing is about to be done.

He is sick of Swick, Koscheck and everyone not wanting to fight each other because they are teammates.

Screw the teammate thing. Joe Silva makes a fight, you either fight it, or you're fined or released. They're contracted workers, they shouldn't be able to dictate who they fight. They should be TOLD who they are fighting.

Pfft, please, you make it sound so easy. A lot of those guys have been training together for years, of course they won't want to fight each other. They would have to switch camps and get adjusted to a whole new regime and style of training.

I can certainly see not wanting to fight guys you train with but its almost gotten to the point where it has become a rather large detriment to where the UFC goes in the future. I think St. Pierre is incredible but I don't think he could take Silva. I also think Silva would greatly struggle to get back down to 170 so it would probably mean that St. Pierre would come up to 185. I think Silva needs to make a permanent move to 205 and unfortunately that would mean fighting guys he trains with. Suck it up, do your job and fight whoever they tell you to. I know its harder than it sounds but just do it.

I think they're going to have to suck it up and get used to it because the day is coming where they're going to have to fight their teammates.

We've seen it before where fighters from the same camp have had to fight each other and they have just split camp and went at it.

They're fighters, they fight, they should fight who they're told.

Plain and simple.

but keep in mind, Hughes submitted Royce Gracie... which to this day is still one of the best fights in UFC history.

Uh.....yeah.......I have a problem with that statement.

Really?

If by 'one of the best fights in UFC history' you mean a totally one sided clinic via Matt Hughes after a bunch of stalling and leg kicks opening the fight, then yes, you are correct.

I just got done watching the fight on UFC Unleashed. And it is in no way one of the greatest UFC fights of all time.

Hughes dominated Royce.

The build up may have been spectacular, and Bruce Buffer may have rocked the **** out of his introductions, but that's just idiotic.

Royce was exposed as being old, and having it shown that the entire world of MMA has evolved all around him, and he is still that one dimensional fighter that he always has been.

****, Machida vs Shogun runs circles around this fight concerning 'best fights in UFC history'. I can name several fights that are much better than this one. It's honestly not even in the discussion as far as the actual execution of the FIGHT goes between both participants.

How stall, stall, kick, kick, smother, smother, smother, smother, smother, smother, kimura, let go, smother, ground and pound, TKO, can be considered a great fight is beyond me.

Hughes didn't submit Royce the fight was stopped due to strikes or a devastating ass whoopin whichever you prefer. Royce Gracie is like one of the greatest baseball players from the deadball era. Yes he was great but when put into context with today's fighters and his skills and ability just do not match up. He was one of the greats and deserves a spot as one.

I was just coming back to comment on the non-bolded part of what I quoted. I was too busy with the idiocy of the 'best fight' comment to even notice the 'submitted' part.

It was a TKO.

And you'd think with it being one of the best fights in UFC history he'd remember how it ended.
