scuba: Yeah, that is a beaute. That card has changed hands once since it was pulled. I believe a board member owns it currently. It appears he's got it listed just to break even. Last time he listed at about 5K.

hofautos: Cobb does have a single 1/1 cut card in the set too. I think they trying to pair living and deceased players and had already used Ripken a couple times in the "Hits" cut set. These are the other cuts:

Ripken/Wagner /1
Gwynn/Musial/Wagner /1
Yount/Yaz/Clemente /1
Ripken/Brett/Clemente/Cobb /1

They only used Griffey in a Mariners uni one time, in the MVPs set paired with Joe Morgan. Still can't figure out the connection there. :lol:

I think I'll post all of the cut sets together in a future post. Should be fun to see them altogether. I agree about the Lemon/Feller. Last one went for $278. So yeah, waaaaayyyyy overpriced.

I would be surprised if it ends over 40. 25-40 is pretty average. GL if you are going for it. It's a nice card!

I was watching that one too. It ended at $48!!! I still don't have one because I refuse to get into a bidding war with the damn Sandberg collectors :lol:

I did pick this up yesterday for $18 dlvd

So now I have 2 of the Dawsons, and obviously 1 Williams. I just looked at Beckett again and realized how many cards I have to go to finish the Dawson/Williams set.
