Hello all! Check out today's mail!!

This is the FIRST Ripken (platinum or regular) that I have ever seen, that beckett has ever tracked, and that most can ever remember seeing. This is the platinum 1/1 version, never seen a regular. Dave and I came to an agreement, and if he would like to disclose it, he can. This is in my collection now serving as a "patch" until I can get the regular version. Enjoy guys!! A better scan is coming i just couldnt wait to get this bad boy up here!!

Yes, seeing one surfaced was pretty exciting. We ended up going back and forth, and after an email with the seller that sounded as if it might go elsewhere, we said lets go for it and hit it. So glad we did, not sure if this would ever be seen again.

I received this 1/2 (half) Cal today.....(I was lazy and grabbed the EBAY scan).....

......thanks John, the title of auction stating "Ripkin" made me laugh.......I only scan about once a month so that was my lazy-man way to show the card. These are getting fewer and far between to pick up now......hope you are well.

I believe that is 05 Ultimate Collection. Not sure what a price would be. Guessing 25-50.

These usually get about $45, and Dawson's sig isn't that great on this one either.

42% bid activity, 6 retractions 4734 FB

29% bid activity, 7 retractions 2311 FB

And some other bidder with 92 FB. They are the only ones that bid them
this high, and I know none of them are Dawson or Williams collectors.

The Ultimates are sweet, but the only autograph set I like better are 2001 archives.
