For the Decades set, the final three are:

McCovey /10
Snider /10
Maddux /10

Wassup Wide!

So you back in the game or just the Decades? Ya know I'm still waiting, patiently, for that Maddux/Cone to show up :( Hope all is well with you...

HEY SCOTT!!! Dude good to see you! :D I'm still trying to finish the Decades, Numbers, and Supremacy sets, picking up duals that are super cheap (and when I have some dough to spend which isn't very often these days lol!)

That Maddux/Cone is elusive. Still to this day have not seen one but I'm sure it will surface! How've you been? Hope the family is well :D

...Woo hoo Daveyou!!! That is a stunner!! I have the Feller/Lemon cut but that pales to this card. Would have been interesting had they made it a triple Robby card with Brooks, however one of the sigs would have been punted to the reverse.

Great pick-up!!!!!

Agreed........you opened the door for me to show mine ;)

...I like that they are both lifelong Indians and won the Series together in '48. They are relatively common autos but look great in this pairing.

 Would love to do another case break... but there are basically no cases left to be bought. Klute just bought 10 tins from a case that a seller in Canada opened. That's the first case that I've heard of in at least 2-3 years.

BTW- if interested, here are the Ult Sig cuts in sets. http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e225/dstratford26/zMy Collection/Ult Sig Sets/. The ones that are blank - like the Jeter/Munson dual - I've never seen. Doesn't mean they haven't been pulled or sold, I just have never seen it.

Love that dual, Scott!

Thanks Davesquared! ;)

Dave (wide) thanks for the re-linkage of the scans of this set. I remember that "awful" Munson cut.....what a shame.......

Some real beauties.....interesting that the reverse of the double sided triples/quads tend to be the biggies- Cobb, Wagner, Hubbell, Clemente- get the reverse. Wonder if that is due to the "cut" nature of their autos. I'd put 'em on the front!!

Totally agree Scott. UD botched some of these big time.

Silly question for you guys: do you guys consider the Ultimate Signature cards tp be condition sensitive? I am speaking more towards the 2005 Dual autographs.

I have been a fan of this set for a while, but I notice that I run across many that have a dinged corner or a bubbled/streaked autograph because the player signed outside the signature area. Is this pretty common with this set?

For example: I got the Jeter/Gwynn card in July (see: http://jdrusnak.wordpress.com/2011/07/2 ... autograph/), and one corner (Top left) is just a tiny bit dinged. I don't think it detracts all that much, but it was something that was bugging me about the set in general. Thought I would ask the experts!

Thanks!

Thanks for stopping in. This set is VERY condition sensitive. I have cards that have dents on them, dinged corners, streaky autos, etc. My Schmidt Decades looks like it got punched by something blunt so it has this big dent. George Kell Decades autos are all over the place. He signed in the white area, on top of his photo, top, bottom, you name it. He was completely guessing where he needed to sign lol.

The dual autos are probably the most condition sensitive since they traveled to two places to get signed. There are many that have graded high, but most I don't think would.

As far as detracting from the card, that's kind of subjective I guess. I don't and haven't worried too much about the condition of the card itself since I own several that have significant dings, but others might see the dings and really hate the card because of them. The BIGGEST thing that I hate to see are the cards that have been exposed to light too long and the auto(s) fade. That definitely detracts, from the value of the card imo.

Good to hear your getting back into it. I'm dying for another case break also, those were fun to do!
