Maybe prices will fall a little more in the future. I would like to pick up a cheap Bonds autograph to replace the 2006 Topps Update /5 that I sold a couple years ago.

"autogaphed" "signiture"

That's why I always include (aut*, sig*) in my searches so that I pick up those horrid misspellings. Chances are... people looking for Bonds autos aren't always going to enter just "Barry Bonds". People searching "autograph" or "signature" missed this one. I would have paid more than that for that card.

Wow. I thought I added a PSA/DNA 87 Topps to my set when prices were at their lowest. Looks like I may have been too early!

It is tempting to start a Bonds collection as sort of a modern type-set, his card issues pretty much span the arc of the evolution of modern cards from 1986 to the present. You could put together a nice collection at a discount at this point. What would that have gone for a year or two ago, $100-150? And yeah, signiture doesn't help, I too use the Auto* and Sig* in my searches.

Wow... I don't know if this is much of a stretch to say but... outside of the Bay area and his player collectors (or a set collector) I cannot imagine there is much of a demand base for his stuff.

Maine of course......
I got mine for $105 in Oct. 2007. The auction title from my card was poor too- "2004 04 Ultimate Collection Barry Bonds Auto /150"

Clearly not 2004.....

That is a very steep decline.

This happened to Michael Vick cards once he was sentenced to jail.
Bonds stuff is going to nose-dive in the next few months, with all the trouble he will have.
And yeah right his agent really thinks a team is still going to sign him sometime this season.

I see Sammy Sosa getting signed before Bonds does. Actually Sosa won't be signed either.

I see a Sweet Spot at $66 with a little over an hour left....that's a very good price if it doesn't jump within the last few minutes of the auction.
