Thanks i can't decide if i'm going to try and slowly put together the sets or if i'm just going to grab a few of the players i like, probably just start with some players and see if i feel the need to have them all. Any more opinions on them would be great. Thanks

You guys see the 1998 Pacific Paramount #/20 Inaugural Issues currently up from eBay seller dariagrl26? 2 days left, many big names. These are tough with a capital T!

Just got this hard to find issue in. It was part of a set issued in 1997 through the Heroes of the game magazine, much like the SI for kids cards. I'm not real sure about print runs but everything I've read seems to limit this to around 1200 copies. What makes this harder to come by is that andruw is on the same 6 card sheet as tiger woods.

Actually I've only heard of print runs being around 600 copies.

There may be signed versions of these as well. I have a football one that signed and limited to 12 copies.

I have tried many times to pull a Ted Williams UD 92 auto.. I maybe have opened a dozen boxes, and each box of 92 has 36 packs I think... :?

there is an insert that is the same card as the auto that gets pulled 2 times every box. it gets you excited for a split second :lol:


its a fun chase.. never tried the score. might have to buy a few boxes of it.

I love the last quote in the article about the company "not heavily publicizing the 500/Musial/mantle/yaz" because they "want to keep the surprise element".

Times have really changed, now it seems companies advertise a couple huge cards and then issue them as redemption's.

I've seen all but 1 come from the same seller. I also have an uncut A Jones atomic, so that makes 5 between the 3 of us.

My only copy that wasn't from that seller happened to come from Burbank, which as we all know doesn't have scans. I was a little shocked when it arrived.

I really have no clue on what to think in reguards to how they were distributed. With that one seller constantly listing them every 2 months or so, it's hard for me to believe they were pack inserted though.
