That Gwynn with the psychadelic (sp) is awesome!

The golds were inserted in the Mini factory sets, and there were 5 of them (I know Ryan was one of them).

Correct me if I'm wrong.

All 792 cards have a gold, value is 2x the base price.

George, I was under the impression that the 12 gold cards are always the same star players like Nolan Ryan; etc.

Has anybody here come across the 1995 Topps/R&N China mini magnets of their player? Years ago, I stopped at a small shop in Belmar NJ and saw a display of these. I had asked the guy behind the counter if he would sell me the display, because I thought it was cool looking. He agreed as long as I bought the remaining 10 or so Griffey magnets that were on it. So I did and left with the magnets and dsiplay for about $20. I have no clue as to what I did with the magnets, but had the display up until 2-3 years ago when I traded it to a Mattingly collector. The display was a sheet of painted blue metal with a rounded top. At the top there was a sticker with the Topps logo and some players. The two that I remember were Mattingly and Puckett. The magnets themselves were about the same size as a Topps micro card. The only players I have ever come across, were the Griffeys (95 Topps & Rookie) that I had and Ripkens (also rookie and 95 Topps) which I know a big Cal collector was selling on Ebay at one point. I do have an ad sheet that shows the display and some of the magnets and the porcelain cards in which there is a Henderson, Ripken, Thomas and other players. If you guys would like a scan, I will get one up as soon as I can.

Nice Gonzales. I have yet to find any of the Henderson magnets. I know from 93-97 R&N China put out a porcelain card, plate, tankard, and a mug for each player in Topps. I have all the Hendersons except for the magnets. I am guessing that they made them each year also? The R&N China stuff is hard to find.
