C'mon! At least tease him a little an tell him about the special edition 1993 topps diamond club set, made specially for the highest executive members of the topps company, each. Given one card with a high-tech diamond encrusted (24 k) embossed stamp. The say how you lost out on a Ripken for over $10,000, and you saw a common (say, Mike Scott of the Astros) go for over a grand...

These came in today.

The bowman is inverted, my 3rd.

The diffractors bring me up to 18/90!

I now have 3 out of 4 of the samples andruw was on.

They are usually in the 15-20 range. Not sure why that went so cheap the listing was better than most I've seen.

Yeah, they were serial numbered. Maybe a replacement card? Is that the one that ended a few days ago? If so, GREAT price!
