Oh Super Sweet 90's Inserts.... #2

Long saga on this card, Wolverine had owned it and I attempted to buy the card on 4 separate auctions. Once the wrong card was shipped, no refund or replacement card. Second time empty mailer, third and forth were at the same time they left ebay so yeah no card. Obviously they thought it was worth more and the $2-$5 it would close for each time and I was willing to bid in hope they would actually send the right card. Crazy I know but these 1998s are worth the risk imho.

The card ends up with Bigboyd and here it is.

Wow George, I saw it listed several times. Just assumed they had more than one copy like most of the other cards they sell.

No offense, but I don't think outing members is the best way to help future transactions go your way. I assume you are referring to me selling my McGwire Mirror Image Invert refractor to a board McGwire collector and not yourself. To be honest, I didn't even realize Palmeiro was on the card until you got a hold of me. Either way, I am not contacting every collector on the board before I sell an item of mine. If I happen to remember a person asking for a specific card and I have it, I would more than likely offer it to them first. With that said, I pointed out the same exact card I sold the board member to you on ebay. It ended $5 more than what I sold mine for. Hopefully you won it, if not, I am sorry. Btw, your offer wasn't exactly concrete either. You were asking me to wait until you got paid at the beginning of the month. I needed the money asap to pay for a huge Andruw Jones item I had purchased.

I don't want to sound like a jerk here either.. but being a self proclaimed super collector of a guy entitles you to exactly nothing. nobody is required to go through you to sell cards of your player.. its nice if they remember to check with you but more often than not thats not going to happen unless you are a well known member here and in the online card community in general. Its one thing to be upset if you are offered a card and then the person goes and sells or trades it to someone else without giving you the opportunity to buy/trade/pass after they clearly offered to you first. Making a post in this manner will not help you gain respect of your peers and may actually turn more people off to dealing with you. Just a llittle piece of advise from a fellow collector.

Yes, they are different. Don't have any dups, so I need them for my set.

What makes you "the" Palmeiro super collector? Didn't you just start collecting him a couple months ago? Anybody here has every right to list on eBay if they so choose, with no hard feelings. Now go pay that eBayer seller of that Palmeiro ticket you are trying to weasel out of.
