You make a wrong assumption and I'm confused? lol Ok, back peddle away. I PM'd you and even let you know that I meant nothing towards you. If you choose to be self righteous when you are wrong so be it. Can't change a zebras stripes.

I have no ill will towards you, but you were wrong and can't accept that fact. Take care.

DAMN, you are one low lying piece of crap for thinking things are owed. I will never consider you a player collector and you're attitude towards others is offending towards those who have actually spent their lives collecting a guy. Next time you decide you want to try to pretend you're a super collector remember that it's not the guy who decides if they are THE super collector but the community.

NYCrulesU, if you were to say "hey, would people let me know if you have a Palmeiro card before selling it on eBay", that would be one thing, and perfectly acceptable. Being upset over the decision to not consult you first, however, implies that you are owed something; why can't you just find it on eBay and buy it at a competitive price? Also, AndruwHRJones didn't even attack you, he just defended himself against a comment he thought was directed at him. Finally, quoting your post in order to continue an argument is just pathetic.

Back on topic: Got these in last week. The middle one is the Gold version, not the base. Both the silver and gold seemed equally as hard to find.

My Early Road to the Hall Refractors. I love the way they look. Both are off center. Anyone have a Thomas that is centered or are they common to be off-centered.

Finished my 1997 Limited Exposure run of Thomas. Now I just have to locate ones without the dreaded refractor lines.

Also on a side note. Don't bid more money than you are willing to spend. Even if the auction is shill bid, if you bid more than you think it is worth that is your own fault.

The 97 Leaf Limited set has the worst centering issues of any set I've ever seen. Every McGwire I have seen or owned has around 30-70 centering at BEST.

Also, NYC's auction wasn't shilled, he just doesn't want to pay for it. Either that or he is totally clueless on shill bidding.

Not centered great, but they gave it a 9.5. Guess it's a common issue w/ them.

I hope BGS applies that rationale to the 1996 Select Certified Mirrors as well. Depending on where your player is on the sheet determines if there is a line or not. Every mirror McGwire has a
refractor line in the same spot. I want to send mine in to get graded. Anybody familiar with this issue?

Not too familiar with the card, but I think a 9.5 centering is accurate. No way to really judge top to bottom and left to right you almost have to go by the top of the doorway. It appears the doorway on the left side would have more space on the outside than the right, but that is a card design flaw in my opinion, not a true centering issue. Just my unprofessional 2 cents. ;)

Very true. My 2 look somewhat centered on the front if you look at the doorway but the backs are not centered at all.

Andruw you're right. They went by the name on the bottom. I measured it and it's almost perfectly centered L/R. I believe they do the same on the 1988 Topps A's Team leaders card with Mac/Canseco; the picture is printed off centered, so you have to judge centering by "Athletics"

The gold was easy for me. It was the silver that was a complete ****** to find! Congrats on that though.
