Theory would say that the 100 point card is the toughest and 25 point card easiest. But that is just assuming common sense was used.

Well, I've collected long enough to know that common sense rarely rules the baseball card world.

HAHA SO TRUE!

I picked up over 100 of the 1998(?) Sports Illustrated parallels #/500 at the National for $1 per. It's about the only thing I bought. :(

WOW! go for the set!

lol

Unfortunately (maybe fortunately) of those 100+ there are only about 15 different cards with tons of duplication. Thankfully the duplicates are guys like Griffey, Thomas, and Ripken.

Did you happen to get any Darryl Kile cards in that lot?

Prized Collection - Beckett says that only 55 were made, is that correct?

Yeah, the Preferred Prized Collections are one of those cases that I wonder if less cards actually made it into the marketplace than were originally planned. I need both Frank versions. My favorite set from 1998. Nice!

You can still find unopened product of this. Wasn't a big hit. Makes it tough to find singles, especially the PC parallels.

Donruss PC = 560 copies, Leaf PC = 400 copies, Elite PC = 220 copes, Preferred PC = 55 copies

I'm fairly sure he wasn't in there. I did just send an Ultra Platinum Medallion of his to COMC though.

There was atleast one McGwire card, though I don't know which one (if he has more than one in the set).

The other 1998 extra edition cards are not #/500. Are they 1997?
