this card was never seen until 2008.

It was rummered that the card did exist, was hyped that only a max of 5 existed then one showed up and all the Juan collectors went GAGA!
Long story short there are now 14 on the Juangone web site, all the serious Juan collectors have it. After the 1st 2 went for very good $$, they came out of the woodwork like roaches in the dark!

So I picked up 3 cases of 1997 and 3 cases of 1998 Finest......I ripped the 97 (nothing major) and have been sitting on the 98. Is anyone interested in a group break?

I'm glad I restrict my collections to cards no bigger than 1952 Topps size. These DK Jumbos would drive me crazy if I had to hunt down a Molitor, Baines and especially a Will Clark.

They definitely aren't for everyone. I had to buy special soft sleeves that would fit in the 5x7 hard cases just to put the Clark in my album safely. Big cards can be annoying and hard to protect. Same with with porcelain mugs and crap like that. I want them, but hate having to find a place for them.

I know how you feel. Trying to store non-standard size cards is bad enough, but throw in memorablia, 8x10's, etc and it'll drive the anal retentive collector crazy! Luckily my LCS sells various size toploaders up to 8x10 individually so that covers a lot of postcards, jumbos, tall-boys, etc. Still haven't found anything to put this newspaper box placard in though!

Well, I'd say your offer was in-line with what I'd think it'd go for? I offered and won my Albert Belle last August for $90 + $3 s/h. Who knows, he has it for a $200 BIN, so I'm sure he won't take less than half.
