I've got both years. Super scarce but nothing glamorous about them at all.

I've got a copper and a blue...agreed with cbrandtw - not flashy but still cool. It's the kind of card that makes me want to go hunting back through my commons to see if I missed anything.

Didn't brian46256qqv sell one awhile ago? Was pretty sure it was a Griffey.

I am in on that. Now that we know that 250 sets are made why do we not see more singles for sale. I guess people just do not want to break it up. 250 for 97 is some what rare.

I think they made 275 gold sets total, maybe with only the first 50 having red letters.

magic posted this in a thread back in March:

Stand and Deliver

This 24-card set is broken into six separate four-card groupings and was part of a contest. Groups contain players from the following teams: 1-4 (Braves), 5-8 (Mariners), 9-12 (Yankees), 13-16 (Dodgers), 17-20 (Indians) and 21-24 (Wild Card). The four players featured within the Wild Card group are from "lesser" teams whom Pinnacle Brands thought had no shot at winning the 1997 World Series. Since the Florida Marlins won the World Series, the four Wild Cards wound up being the winning cards.
Hobbyists who held all four cards of the 1997 World Series Champion (or the four Wild Cards if one of the five selected teams did not win) could mail them to Pinnacle for a special Gold version of the set. Gold Stand and Deliver was limited to 275 sets and came encased in a glass frame. Because of the unusual distribution, Gold Stand and Deliver singles are difficult to find. The gold cards came in two different flavors, gold with silver letters and gold with red letters. The gold with red letters version is extremely rare.
All 24 cards come in 3 versions:

Silver with gold letters
Gold with silver letters (rare as only 225 sets were produced)
Gold with red letters (extremely rare, print run is unknown)

re Stand and Deliver set......would it not be reasonable that there are 250 total sets (see serial number) with 225 Golds/Silver and 25 Gold/Red?

Any print runs for Pinnacle Inside Diamond Edition?

Sent from my DROID X2 using Freedom Card Board mobile app

I think they are like 1:67 , I don't know print run but my guess is in the 50-100 on the 1997 ones, more on the 1998s. Someone may know more details but I think the 97s are tuff for any player. I think you did well w the Henderson at $40

1997 - 1:63 for 150 card set
1998 - 1:67 for 150 card set

Interestingly, the 1997s seem a good bit tougher to locate than the 1998s.

I believe it was backdoor 1998s from the bankruptcy, that's my thought on why those are easier.

Have been working on building a set of 1995 SP Special F/X and 1996 SP Special F/X die cuts. Already have a complete set of 1994 SP Holoview Reds. All are great sets!
