I agree with previous poster, why would they make both? I say black is aftermarket stamped.

This is correct... I should of done more homework before posting

I just looked at the scans he sent of the front and the "score" logo is in the opposite corner, so that's how it is on the actual base card. Point being, these are aftermarket printed. Good thing I didn't buy any lol.

Sorry for the excitement.

Truthfully, without having these in hand to see, you can't be 100% sure this is an aftermarket job. Theoretically, it could be a later sample that was updated to reflect the actual release version's aesthetics and the 1994 stats; or maybe it was handed out a large card show or event rather than sent to dealers as promotional items. Remember, the 1994 season was shortened, and therefore there were several extra months between the end of the season and the release of '95 Score.

I'm not saying this isn't a fraud, it likely may be; but this isn't a slam dunk case. I'd want to see it in hand. Pay via PayPal, get a refund if it's a fraud.

Forget the Pinnacle and E, check the stats. White has 000 and black doesn't. Sample doesn't line up the same either. Hope you didn't shell out a lot for the fake.

yes most samples would have no stats (000) as far as I know, but then wadda I know............hehe

Very annoyed that the seller shipped it in a toploader without a penny sleeve. The card was stuck in the too thin top loader, and i had to pull on it to get it out. So glad nothing happened to it during its "birth" into my PC.

Oh, and since I was finally able to pay Magicpapa for it, I can now scan this and add it to my PC. Thanks!

Those diamond producers are very tough to find without chipping on the reflective edges. You did great with yours!! Very nice.

Well I asked my buddy and he said it's clearly under the gloss, so ^this might be true.

Here is a snap shot of page 1160 of 2011 Standard Catalog Of Baseball Cards lists both a white and black print variation....

I think it's a bargain and whoever breaks it up and maybe even grades them will make a profit while even keeping out one or two for their own collection. Had I been a rich guy I would have easily dropped $5k on it and displayed it in my man cave.
