I'd feel the same way if I was going to PC it. But for the price he got it, he should have no problem piecing it out and making a nice profit.

That Thome and Matt Williams would look real good in my PCs...I'll give you my address so you can send them on my way

Came out if a framed set I bought... I will say the quality of the frame job was very nice, but it wasn't my desire to keep it that way.Ryan

You could salvage the frame and put a base set or regular gold set in its place.

You know after I threw it out I thought why the hell am I not reusing it, bad move on my part, coulda made a nice display w minimal adjustments of the name plate etc. oh well

Thanks, it was something that I thought was rare and personally only had seen pics of a couple cards n were 16 years later. I talked to PSA today and because of lack of info and rarity behind it and not being in a catalog, they won't label them as Red Letter variations...??? Wasn't to happy to hear that buy I didn't get it to grade in general anyway...

That's BGS...they'll grade anything, almost literally. PSA won't grade anything without substantial support from the Beckett Big Book or the Krause Standard Catalog.
