Much appreciated, thanks! I see now that the gold version of the complete players come from the score team set packs. If they are like the 1997 Indians Score stuff, that would explain why I've never seen them and have seen other players. Seems that distribution/demand in the midwest was pretty paltry.
I have one of these for Manny - and it's the "B". Shoot me your mailing address, I'll send it to you.

Thought I made a team set of these back in the day - guess I didn't. I don't have a Cirillo /7 or an Uribe /4 unless I misplaced them.

I've been collecting Bonds since 1998. After 15 years of searching card shops, shows, and online, I finally found the 1996 Collector's Choice Gold Signature #409 (not a signature rather a gold teamp stamp). I know a few other player collectors who also have had a hard time finding this card. When I won it last week on eBay it was the first and only time I've ever seen the issue. I was starting to doubt it's existance! In fact, about 10 years ago I sold the Cardinals/Ozzie Smith Silver Signature version for $10!

Yup, gradedeflator is right. ebay. paid right around $20 delivered. Was happy to do so considering I've never seen another. Probably one of those cases were these cards are sitting in boxes and owners don't know what they have.
