The 1997 Topps Stars All Stars Ripken DO exists. I don't have one but I've seen at least two the last three years on ebay. I was outbid both times and the wait continues.......

1999 Ultimate Victory Derek Jeter 1/1 Parallel with missing serial number:

I've never seen a card from this set missing the serial number. I've also never heard of any cards from this set being backdoored.

Got to love things like this graded a 10. I mean it's a 1/1 haha.

Interesting aside: I bought the Centurion REF from $102.50 and it just came back PSA 10 a few weeks ago. It's a truly perfect card and I never say that. Couldn't be happier.

I don't want to change the subject away from the Donruss Crusade topic (which is fascinating), but these two auction's ending prices blew my mind today. I was watching them just for kicks and surprised to see them sell for much more than they usually runs at auction. I paid about less than for $30 for both of these cards two years ago. Anyone else noticed prices going up on 98 Finest stuff?

No. I don't think so but for some reason I didn't have it and it was cheap. Sometimes I like cards like that more than the big fancy ones.

Anyone seen these 2000 topps tek variations before? I came across this auction (151146658616) that shows a box where a serial number should have gone on the back of the card. I went through my 90+ copies and found 2 patterns that had this box.

Any other collector's collect this variation? Do you consider it a variation or just a printing error?
