So I've been looking for this darn card for too long and finally got it in the mail today!! ......unfortunately I was not aware that there was both a pack issued card and this winner card. I thought the certified winner only existed for the 1993 set....... Paid a handsome sum for this card, but thankfully less than the last one I saw at auction somewhere in the $200's.

Congrats, those are awesome cards. There's a little picture of Daulton on both the 93 and 94 versions, so eventually I'll have to pony up the money for them.

Can anyone tell me anything about this button? It's the first one I've seen.

Upon further review, it looks sort of like these, only without the blue border.

Cool card! I think Belle is on this one but I don't see it on his checklist but it's not the first card and it won't be the last. Congrats on the card!

Regular winners were inserted in to packs. Certified winners were the ones you got back from Topps after redeeming.

Therefore, there are a finite number of Certified vs an infinite number of regular. That explains the price of the certified.

That's pretty cool. I've seen a lot of pins over the years, none quite like that. Who else was in the set? Any chance of a Will Clark?

It was listed at auction on E-bay and I made the guy a good offer of $80 shipped if he would end it. He was blown away by how much I offered, as to him beckett states that it is worth less than $1.

I don't really know who else was in the set.. he gave the pin to my brother to give to me. I've had it for about a week and still cannot find any info on it or what set it is from.

I hope you figure it out, I had 2-3 identical pins to that including the canseco far as I remember I got them at a retail store like k-mart

and thanks for the heads up on the cetified/uncertified I can't remember if I just didn't get a certified card back when i redeemed my sets...or if I trashed the card. but pretty sure I didn't receive a card back for any of mine (think I redeemed 4 sets) anyone else remember if they got one back?

Nice Frank!

That helps with knowing where they originated from. I guess I should look around for a player list to make sure Will wasn't in that set. He was still considered great in 1992, so there is a chance he made the set.
