Seems like this issue has a big set collector following too, so I wasn't sure if I would ever find one.

Phew! That is a monster right there. Awesome pickup. The Griffey is at top of my list but it holds a mythical/legendary status in my mind and I have doubts I'll ever see one in-person, let alone own one.

This came in the mail today. Huge thanks to the board member who worked out a deal on it. Already had one but I love the look of these, especially unpeeled, and wanted one peeled an one unpeeled. Now I just have to get up the nerve to actually peel it....

To be fair, that card is #'d / 3

1998's sell at a relative premium to 1999's. That is, until some '99 set collectors come out of the woodwork.

Beautiful card! I hope to get one someday too and still do not have, nor have ever seen, the Rusty Greer.

Make sure you inspect that upper left corner before you decide to keep it. Looked like some slight peeling that this issue is susceptible to.
