Anyone working on the set or interested? ;)

Anybody here have a 1999 Aurora Pennant Fever Copper /20? Were the odds longer on the 99 than the 98 because book value is higher on the 99 ones despite the same exact print run.

Makes 23 of the 90 patterns. 25% completion in 12 years of looking. ::facepalm::

At current rate, I'll be done with this set somewhere around 2050 (factoring in harder to find needed patterns but also advances in technology that make finding rare cards easier).

(In my James T. Kirk "KAHN!" voice...)
TEKKKKKK! TEKKKKKK!

I swear 98 diffractors are tougher than 99 golds #/10.

Dang, I mised the Diffractor for Gwynn out of pure Laziness...saw it, and said "I'll check on it later" and it was gone. I did pick up 6 more base 98's in the mail today though:

Nice!! I'm still at 19. I was so sad when I saw burbank list all the Tek's and Andruw didn't have any.

Who else gets upset about Burbank not listing their guy

Are the 96 upper deck jumbo all-stars worth anything?
I have a set of them which includes-both Alomars, Thomas, Boggs, Ripken, Griffey, Belle, Lofton, Nagy, Piazza, Bagwell, Biggio, Williams, Larken, Bonds, Gwynn, Bichette, and Smoltz. They look like this-

I definitely see a heck of a lot more '99 golds. Then again they're more obvious to rippers. It would be a blast to go back and bust some of the '98's but the price is surprisingly high when available.
gwynn5453l4u- nice to see you're taking your new found Tek dedication seriously!

Nice work with the Teks! I am at 43/90 for the base, 4/90 for the diffractors. Have a bunch of doubles but no one to swap with.

Here is a rare cameo card for you hardcore player collectors...a bunch of guys pictured on the back, I see Rickey, Reggie, Joe Carter and others, lol.

Nice! Backdoored version?

Sorry, I don't know how to tell. The only other ones I've seen looks just like this one. If it has something to do with the name missing on the back, then I have never seen one with the name... Maybe one will show up here...

Continuing with the Flair Legacy Collection theme... I rescanned mine last night since my previous scans were over 10 years old and done on a crappy scanner. These look much better.

No, but unfinished cards (not serial numbered) that were still in Fleer's inventory were most likely sold in bankruptcy asset auctions or in some cases taken by employees illegally as "severance pay." These cards were later serial numbered (note, the placement of the serial number is different on the unfinished cards), probably by someone who worked by Fleer because the stamping equipment is the same as the packed-out cards.
