Techno Reciprocal

I remember busting tons of boxes of 99 UD Ionix in hopes of hitting some of the big inserts. The only big hit I got was an A-Rod Techno Reciprocal (like yours) that I ended up selling for $100. They are such beautiful cards in hand.

Thanks for the heads up on those CC Vending cards. Now I need to track down a Fryman.

Greg

Message the guy through Ebay he has had extras and he has sold them to all the player collectors.

THIS has paid off. Its one of those rare times when I find out about a card I didn't know existed, only to be able to actually acquire it for once. Newest addition to the collection:

96UDVending.jpg

Goes with these:
96CC.jpg
96CCSilver.jpg
96CCGold.jpg

And even this cameo:

AND - another extremely difficult find. 1999 Indians Colla Postcard. Had forgotten to scan it until last night. Puts me to only needing to find the 98 version and find out what in the world these alleged Tigers postcards are like or are from 96 and 97.

I'm getting ready to list some stuff in my online store, including a 1995 Pinnacle Pins Fryman redeemed pin. Do you have any need for one?

Just wondering what the background info is on this card. Insert? Parallel? I don't think I've seen one like this before, and of course I'm wondering if there's an Olerud out there somewhere.

Thanks!

I don't, but I thank you for asking! It took me so long to get one of those. Even when they came out, I couldn't even track down the redemption card to try and send one in. Very frustrating! It was probably 7 or 8 years later I ever found a pin. To this day I've seen a handful of them redeemed.

That's the redeemed gold rush send in. Pinnacle stamped/hole punched the gold rush cards that were redeemable for a platinum set. I have a couple in my hockey collections, but have not run across any in baseball yet. The ones I'm showing were golden blades winners for their hockey contest at the time - which led to the Dealers Choice Artists Proof. The one right below matches the Gwynn as it was redeemed for the platinum set.

I hear ya brother. I was extremely bothered ever since I saw Jacob had this Bagwell a while back. I was kinda ticked I could never find it. Now I have one too. Its nice to finally not worry about it anymore.

That's what I know, as well, although I had never seen one until a few years ago, (any player), and I had personally redeemed 8 teams back in 1996 when they came out and I never got redeemed (punched) cards back in return. I only got the platinum sets.

Got my Ripken about a year and a half ago.

And this arrived from your very own Dave Campos.
Thanks Dave!!

I didn't want to feel left out of the Vending party.

So are these '96 or '97 Collector's Choice?

Stats only go to '95, so typically, it would be a '96 card. But the fine print at the bottom says 1997 Upper Deck.
