Can anyone shed any light on this card? I can't locate it on beckett and not sure if it is serial #/10 or just #8 out of 10 inserts. http://cgi.ebay.com/Albert-Belle-rare-T ... 43a6d75189

Ask for a scan of the back. :^)

Those are showing up for all kinds of players. I think you need to treat those as a custom made card. Not licensed, not distributed in pack or box form, just somebody creating their own cards. Like most unlicensed cards, won't be cataloged by Beckett or SCD.

They are pretty good quality though, might be interesting to add to a player collection as an oddball.

Cool, thanks guys! I figured it would probably classify as an odd ball which is not licensed.

They had one for Bagwell that I have neglected to buy because I wasn't sure if it was a custom or not. I don't really go after custom stuff for my PC. I have a few custom Allen and Ginters a member made for me back on the old boards. I plan to get them all signed one day. But I don't go around looking for stuff like this.

So I finally got around to tying up odds and ends ever since I completed the 80's. Now onward through the 90's and this will be my last "group focus". After this, I will have to focus on one year at a time!
You player collectors will recognize some cards on this list! Some tough ones! Luckilly, there's a few easy ones, too!

I never thought I would see 40+ of these. Of course it only gets harder to find ones I need now. This has always been a favorite set of mine. I remember an Albert Belle collector that had a large collection of these and dreamt of having one similiar only of Chavez of course. I think I have reached that level. If I can get to 50 I will be very happy.

Rob, how can you tell they are the 8 x 10s and not the regular golds?

BTW... I LOVED OPENING THAT STUFF!

The difference is the 8 x 10's say "Portrait Proofs" on the left side and the regular golds say "Studio Proofs". And at least for Andruw, the picture is slightly different.

Anyone know the difference between 1992 Panini Stickers and 1992 Panini Stickers French? I'm assuming the text is in French on the one but I'm not sure. Belle is #51 in both sets. Any insight would be great...
