This was incredibly tough, only one I have seen. I did not even ever see, nor have I seen a pack of this...#'d/99

I am pretty sure it's 2000, although it has the 1999 date on the bottom. The stats are 1999, so it must be 2000. Did they even make a 1999?

Expensive yes, but not out of the norm. Out of the last 9 completed listings on eBay, 4 have been around that price. $158, $120, $200, $159. The other 5 around $66 each. Go figure.

So what is driving the price of the higher ones? why are half going more than double?

Tell me though, have you not noticed an increase in the popularity of these? I have.

Topps HD Platinum seems to be one of those parallels, like the Flair Legacy Collection /100 that despite being "relatively" high serial numbered remain in quite high demand. I think since the set came out I've only seen a couple of Olerud's for sale and was very surprised how much they went for.

Other parallels numbered in similiar quantities can be had for pretty cheap. I recently purchased a 2005 Donruss Champions Impressions Blue /100 Olerud for 75 cents on Sportlots. Go figure!

Feel like I overpaid a bit, but had to hit the BIN when I saw this:

Awesome card! Yet again I'm glad I don't collect superstar caliber players!

On the '00 HD Platinums, I've yet to see a Cirillo, one of the few cards I still need with a print run over 50. Here's my Burnitz I got in a random player lot a few years ago. The Topps HD cards are really nice looking

Hey, that Burnitz looks familiar! ;)

That was the only one I have ever seen. I wonder if the reason those are so hard to find was due to the lack of popularity.
