No stats on the 1990 line or Career line on the back. Early Score promos did that rather than marking it a promo, which I assume makes them that much harder to find these days since many got passed by as regular issued common cards stuffed in away in boxes that will never see light again.

Aaaahhhh. Cool. Thanks for the info!

Just fantastic! does anyone have a list of what players are in these promos?

I to would like to know this.

The bible says that "46 of the 110 cards numbered between 111 and 220 have been verified as promos". A quick scan for notable players shows George Brett, Jack Morris, Jay Buhner, Craig Biggio, Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Kirby Puckett (obviously), Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, Gary Carter, and Rafael Palmeiro all potentially have promos. That's six cards I'll never have in my PC!

Here's a Hubie Brooks on ebay, for all the Hubie diehards!

Does anyone have any idea how the 98 Pacific online winners were issued?
I have seen 3 Gonzalez, Griffey and now Clemens. The only thing is the Gonzalez and
Clemens are the team card but the Griffey is the Batting variation?

You could go to the Pacific website and enter the code on the back of a Web Card to see if it was a winner. Apparently the only "prize" was the right to mail your card to Pacific, where they would put the gold stamp on it and mail it back to you. The Web Cards were one per pack, but the set was huge (800 cards), and winning Web Cards were quite rare. Considering how rare they were and how unpopular the product was in general, I imagine most players in the set never even had a Gold Winner card made. In addition to the ones you mention, I have seen a Wade Boggs team card and this Andy Stankiewicz that I own.

For all the COMC users, there's a dealer who has a decent stock of 1997 Score White Border Artist's Proofs at 90% off plus he auto-accepts offers of 20% off on top of that. Mostly commons and minor stars, but a hell of a deal! I picked up a few since I haven't come across these in person since I started collecting again:

Here's the Biggio (not for sale)

He's the only other one I have other than Hubie Brooks, but I'd love to buy more if they ever surfaced

I never knew these existed. I wonder if I ever actually held the Biggio and put it back because I already have a 91 Score...

Not sure why but Belle wasn't even in 1991 Score :?:

He was in the minors for most of 1990, trying to get over his debilitating stupidity. He was still Joey then, wasn't till he became Albert that he was really worth a card anyways.

I don't think Grace has one. Never seen one, never seen it checklisted anywhere and never heard of another Grace collector with one. Would be cool though!

I'll email one of the guys that contacted me about the 1991 Score Set Brad. I'm pretty sure Grace is in it. He was trying to put together a complete set of it and has been collecting rare promos for years, so maybe he can shed some light on it's existence. I will at least see if he'll send me a scan of it. I see no reason why Grace wouldn't exist. It's just that the 1990 and 1991 Score Promos are so rare that it is hard to find anyone with an example at all. It's sort of like 1990 Sportsflics promos. Most people don't checklist them since Beckett doesn't know about them, but they are definitely out there and exist. One of the first rare promos I ever picked up of Clark was the Sportsflics one.

Interested in parting with the Thomas featuring Rickey? Silver of gold?
