I was organizing tonight and saw these in my collections. They might be my favorites, so I felt the need to scan and show off. Not sure why the scanner didn't make them "pop" like usual.

Made a deal with Eddie for some 90's classics:
Serial numbered 713 which is the number of HR he should have hit in his career
Was surprised how little white was showing on this edges of this one. Had one for my set, needed one for my Griffey album. This card was one of my most memorable pulls
Most of these cards appear to have gone from packs to sleeves - Thanks, Eddie!:
I am definitely feelin' the base on this one - loved that early Metal and their WTF cards. Is Griffey a pawn in an alien game of chess? Hell nah - he's the king!
It was always interesting to see how subsets would look/be treated when parallels had a gimmick. I like the silohuette cut-outs from 97 Donruss with the shimmery logo background - glad the background carried over to 98:
So how would they handle the Interleague Showdown subset? Logo background, plenty of gold foil, press proof printed on both photos, and cut out the middle design thingy:
Also picked up a few more Reserve Collection including these - look at the old man gettin' after it!
And maybe this is my favorite now...

Real quick, can anyone shed some light on the difference between the 1998 Pinnacle Plus Team Pinnacle set, difference between Gold and Mirror? Seems obvious considering the Mirror is #/25 (per beckett) but not sure if it is actually serial numbered or if there is something much different between the two. Beckett.com doesn't give any details to how these are different. Thanks!!
