Hi George,

The Maddux/Vaughn really doesn't sell for much. I got that one because it was listed improperly and was only a few bucks. Sadly $10 to $15 is probably about right.

No, I know the price is fair based on the market, in fact on on ebay for $30 BIN/BO. I just dont need to sell it for that compared to where the prices were.

I was gonna say, I just bought a Maddux last week for $3 with free ship on a auction. Sheesh!

There is a Biggio collector in Texas that also collect Sandberg. He has been selling off both players for a while and Sanberg sells for HUGE money.

Is that Texan2Gators?

Yes, unfortunately, it's been much tougher of late to pick up Ryno's 90's inserts I need. They've been going for more than I had ever expected. Unfortunately, I already had this card.

Yes. That's who I'm talking about.

I've bought quite a few Biggio's from them....as well as lost out on a bunch that went SUPER high.

Question about Inkredible Level 2's

Other than the hand-numbering, is there a way to tell Inkredible Level 2's apart from the basic Inkredibles? It looks here like maybe the background is red w/ the base and gold with the Level 2:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-Upper-...=220845709109&ps=63&clkid=2917149244959926494

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-UD-Ret...0845709109?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item336b6e1735

Also, I'm pretty sure the Inkredible Level 2 I already have is blue ink. The one above appears to be black ink. Is that unusual? I guess I'm not a supercollector because getting one with a different color ink doesn't interest me much. :geek:

So this guy has several of these 1995 Fleer Extra Bases Game Test Sample cards. I've never seen these before but I am not as hardcore as some of you guys. He has several stars (Griffey, Ripken, Bagwell, Maddux). Are they worth the $20+ minimum bid?

The Maddux can be had in the 12-15 range if you are patient. It pops up not infrequently.

Thats how I am feeling about the Piazza at $25. I just wanted to know if I would regret not picking it up later down the road.

My Biggio cost me $35, so it's not that insane.

I just think 30 dollars could be put to better use on other cards. I guess it would just be a matter of what cards are your priority. Granted, I'm always willing to add any card I dont have to my PC, but at this point there are other cheaper cards I can pick up instead. But if you are running out of Piazza's to pick up, then go for it.

To me, promos and prototypes are a focus of my collection, and the prices seem well worth it. There were very few print runs of the set, 60 I believe. Once they're gone, they're gone.

I paid $30 for my Puckett test issue. I have seen them sell as high as $85 in the past so it was well worth it to me.
