Recently pulled, Frank's first pack issued serialized card, numbered to his jersey number. Please excuse the large images, PB hasn't updated my resize yet.

That's awesome! I would love to have Ryno's jersey-numbered Elite card.

Finally got one of these.

Great cards! Got a good collection of Larry Walker myself, but nothing as great as that FPP.

On an unrelated note, is it common for 1996 Bowman's Best Mirror Image Refractors to not say Refractor on them? There are several on COMC that look like Refractors but do not say it on them.

6x ken griffey sample Z40
2x vladimar guerrero Z41
1x nomar Z1 (card is red? this any different than the standard 5x7s?)
2x travis lee Z67
1x javy lopez Z62
1x jaret wright - impulse Z69
1x frank thomas Z4
1x frank thomas Z-team #1 (can someone explain to me what the deal with the rips on these is? I only collected till '95 and missed all this stuff.)

3 1995 UD commerative michael jordan NNO jumbo cards (not sure which ones they are can't figure it out)

There were cards each of them. The only way to get them was to rip the card open to get the regular sized cards.

Thanks.

With the 96 Bowman's best mirror refractors I don't know for sure if they all say refractor on them. The Walker one I have does say it. COMC has been known to miss label so you may want to confirm with them. Others here may know if all of them say refractor or not.

I have two refractors of Andruw, one says refractor, the other does not. I bought mine from the seller that was selling the uncut 96 bowman's best cuts so it could be some what of a back door issue. I've also got a 97 version missing the word refractor that I picked up off COMC...it was listed as the base.

Exactly. He was asking $21.50 and we negotiated $15.

For those into busting super sweet 90's boxes even though you're doomed to come out negative, Brickman has a couple boxes of 1998 Leaf Fractal Materials and he negotiates. Even the base Fractal Foundations are serial numbered, although you don't get very many cards in a pack. They are VHTF as most of the product was opened.

Congrats! That's a huge hit even by today's standards just due to odds. I didn't pull the Thomas myself, but it was just recently pulled and is in great shape...the serial number is what I was really after!

That must have been a $400 card at the time easy. I remember that it was some sort of law that any one who owned an Elite, or any store that was selling one, had to have it encased in the massive Lucite brick screwdowns. I only own one of the old Elites, a 1991 George Brett. Found in a quarter box at a shop last year :D
